The Edward Mitchell Bannister Art Gallery is a Contemporary Art Gallery on the Rhode Island College campus. It has been in continuous operation since 1978. 2018 Marks the 40th Anniversary of the Edward Mitchell Bannister Gallery’s first opening.
Bannister Gallery aims to present artworks in all spectra of traditional media, as well as contemporary, site specific, electronic, and video projects to a wide variety of visitors, artists, and students. Through education and accessibility, it aims to bring the creativity and inspiration to its visitors.
