Eagle Lake Narrows Country Store

Me and my friends had a great time here Snowmobiling. Fred and his wife, as well as Nigel were so welcoming and warm. Very friendly people running their family business. We were newbies to Snowmobiles. They took us on our tour with proper gear, training, guidance and safety. The trails they took us on were scenic. You can operate the Snowmobile on your own and add a passenger too. We had a fun outing! Definitely recommend to visit them for sure. I would visit them again for more adventures. Super friendly owners. And home of John Deer who overlooks the lotto machines. Store has only been around 70 years. Ice cream choices were scarce as it was the end of the season. They had a lot of fireworks and were super busy.

Just a short drive from Mikisew Provincial Park this park store has everything you need to make your camping trip or boating trip a lot easier. The park/beach across the street was very nice. We actually spent more time at that beach than the Mikisew beach itself. The pizza there is great.

The excellent reviews and the line up of customers out the door suggested that this place was some kind of hidden gem. The sign on the road stated that "Fresh and Hot Pizza" was available. Behold! A $4 slice of room temperature pizza. Will never visit again.

Great staff and a good selection of items. We went in at around 30 minutes before closing and asked for a pizza which was kinda late but they ended up happily serving us and its the best pizza I have had in a while it was super cheesy. All the groceries and packaged goods are sold at a very reasonable price, food could be slightly pricy but it is to be expected and its totally a reasonable premium 20 bucks for a medium/large pepperoni pizza. Firewoods are sold in larger bags, almost twice the size than Mikisew campsite and only a fraction more cost-wise. I would totally visit again and support the local business!

We’ve been going to the Eagle Lake shop for food, worms and of course the ice cream for many years. Great customer service.

Stopped by for a late lunch. We ordered small fries, family size poutine, chicken fingers and a breakfast sandwich. Everything was wonderful, large poutine and chicken finger portion. We also had ice cream! Reasonable wait for the food and great service. Stop by and enjoy.

Great little store within walking/biking distance <2k of Mikisew PP. Amazing how many things they cram into their little store. They certainly cater to the vacationing crowd with hand scooped Kawartha ice cream, canoe/kayak/bike rentals, firewood, and most basic groceries you may have forgotten at home. I’d guess even the local cottagers make use of the store as I think it’s open year round. Nice friendly staff too. Gave our pup some water on a hot day.

This store is an absolute Gem! Great spot for everything you need or forgot on your trip. Was served the best breakfast sandwiches - we had to go back for more! Delicious pizza- hot, fresh and authentic! Friendly and helpful staff!

I would give them zero stars if I could. We needed to refill a water jug at a cottage that we rented and had to go a dump run. On our way we stopped in to fill the gas tank. The price was $259.9. With that being said we decided to only put in $40. and fill up in 2 days on our way home. We love supporting the little local business, and fully expect to pay a little more. 7 minutes down the road near grocery store there is a Shell station. The gas was 221.9 I feel discusted at the price difference. On our way back to the cottage we stopped back in to let them know that. I was very nice about the fact I was so upset about it. The man who served us tried to say it's a convenience because they are near the lake. I have no idea why they feel that way as it's a station for cars not boats. I explained that we were planning on stopping by the next day for ice cream and will no longer be doing so. From now on we will be driving the 7 minutes to get our purchases elsewhere. A loss of 8 ice cream cone sales for their store we were going to purchase and years of future sales as we love the cottage we rented. Very disappointed!
