My husband and I love the ice cream cones at Eagle's Nest. They have a variety of flavors that are striped into the icecream. My favorite is bubblegum. My husband's is black cherry. They make them big. The pictured sizes are both child size and the price is right! They make good burgers and fries too!
Great food, great drinks, reasonable prices, and excellent customer service
Stopped in at this little place while in town for the evening. I reviewed the previous Google reviews, and knew what to expect. Yes, the staff 2 - cashier and cook were young, courteous, and friendly. No, I wouldn't expect this place to serve good Chinese food. Yes, there could be a wait, as it's all made to order. I got the grilled chicken basket, and it was pretty good. With a grilled cheese basket and drinks, it came to about $20... pretty reasonable. Note that the one bathroom is small and parking is tight, but worth stopping by.
I had the best little cheeseburger and the greatest french fries with their goop sauce. The staff who are of young men and women were super kind and most personable. We stopped at this delightful Eagles Nest Restaurant to play cribbage and enjoy a lovely lunch. We liked it so much that on the way back from Moclipse we stopped again in return to Seattle to eat french fries and a cheeseburger. Thank you so much young people for your kind service. We were very impressed. Next time we're going to definitely try the chocolate milkshake!
I had a great gluten free or sans bun burger. The young men who were working were adorable. Reminded me so much of my youngest son and his good friend I watched grow up. Made my day. A must stop if you are in the mood for a classic burger!
I always get great food at the Eagle's Nest. I love this place so much I keep their number in my phone. You can call in your order and hit the drive thru for pick up. Grab a shake while you're there! The staff is awesome too. That Mercedes girl needs a raise to go with her amazing personality too!
Hubby and I stopped by and ordered the Eagle Pride and the Mushroom Swiss burger baskets on 2/16/20. Within 24 hours we both were very sick. Doc said it was the worst case of food poisoning they had seen. We know it came from here because it was the only time we ate that day. It lasted 7 agonizing days. We each missed a week of work, had to go to the doctors and had to get prescription medications. I don't recommend.
Last minute decision to stop in and get my family supper. As I pulled around to go through the drive through one of the employees runs out of the restaurant to a car where she proceeds to stick her back side into someones car and wave her rump in their face. As I pull around to the window I see it's her and thought I should really just drive away. It was late and I needed to get my family fed. I placed my order, waited 30 minutes not a large order by any means. The young gal comes to the window and tells me my total is 49+. I could have choked but had no more time to waist. I paid the bill and waited for my food. When it finally came the young gal says I will be right back with your drinks. I told her I did not order drinks she said oh ok well thanks for stopping in. I thought nothing of it and went on home. I got all the children to the supper table handed each of them their meal to find that three of the 5 sandwich's were soaked in grease. They were not edible in anyway shape or form thus going into the trash can. I could have simply taken a $50.00 bill and tossed it into the trash and had the same outcome. The next day I call and talk to a woman who stated she was a manager, she was very sorry and said she would speak with the owner about compensation. She said it would be the next day, as the owner was a school teacher in Aberdeen. The next day comes around and no phone call from the owner so I called the restaurant again. Got the same "manager" on the phone and her reaction was not polite at all. She said I will put you on the phone with the gal that was here that night. I could hear the young lady in the back ground saying she was not going to get on the phone and talk to me. When she finally did, I demanded to talk with the owner and her response was she only comes in on Sundays for making supply orders. She said she would send her a message with my name and phone number and ask the owner to reach out to me. Giving that is the second time that they have said the will reach out to the owner I am willing to bet it won't happen. So I will just make certain to be sitting at the restaurant Sunday. If I have to sit there all day I will. I would not recommend this place to anyone. What a shame too, support our local economy I would but this has gone way to far. Wonder how many others have had a poor experience. No wonder they are trying to sell.
Excellent REAL Burger joint! Homemade Ice Cream shakes in every flavor. Great food friendly staff easy location. Well worth the money and any time spent waiting.
4 home town cooking is great, but dont or csnt follow direction very well. We told them no veggies on our burgers but when we got all way home not only was the veggies gone so was the sauces, very dry not hopd at all.
