Beautiful park. It's nice to walk around the lake. Although it was sad to see the lake is a bit dirty. There is also free to use workout equipment. Playground: There are indeed playgrounds. They are even fenced in. Restrooms: There is a one toilet restroom that was open when I visited. There is as well a larger building that has toilets. There might have even been another building housing toilets but I don't recall accurately. Dog-friendliness: There's a fenced in dog park as well as people walking their dogs along the lake. I don't recall seeing dog poop bag dispensers. Picnic area: There are enclosed seating with tables as well as plenty of lawn to picnic on.
Went to DeLand for the 4th of July Firecracker event ... What a wonderful event in Deland! This city is so diverse, so many different cultural backgrounds represented. The food trucks were delicious, 3 cuban trucks that I remember! Cuban sandwich was delicious. The park is clean and pretty lots to do here. Firework show was awesome.
a huge park in the DeLand area- lots of walking space, two dog parks, a good-sized playground, a basketball court, a skate park, a large stage, great public bathrooms, a covered patio with picnic tables, and lots of benches to enjoy all the ducks and birds around the water. the park is also near the local baseball stadium and just outside of Downtown DeLand so it’s super convenient!
Earl Brown Park is a beautiful, and clean park. It has great seating and shade from the mature community that surrounds it.
Great park with good access to parking. Pond with lots water fowl. Nice pavilion for a small venue concert. Great Local vibes.
I like the walking paths. The ducks are nice and I know there is only so much the city can do to keep the water clean. Its more the homeless that hang out and the obvious smell of drug use. I wouldn't dare use the bathrooms. Would be nice if police patrolled regularly or if they had security.
Gorgeous park! There's a pond with fountains and ducks but I didn't get any photos of that!
Beautiful community park with great facilities to enjoy some outside time. I visited for a local art show. The park was well maintained with a wonderful variety of activities and natural wildlife.
Plenty of activities here. Basketball court Skateboarding, big and small dog park, lake. My Furry child Buddy and I had a nice time here. Nice walking area. Ducks. There was an Art Festival the day I came there. Lots of interesting stalls. There is also a large building for inside events. Playground: Pretty large playground.
Nice big lake park with lots of ducks and other birds. There is a big dark park area. Playground with plenty for the kids but there aren't any seats for the parents inside the play area. There are benches outside the play area but this is too far if you have smaller children. No shade over the playground. Nice paths around the lake. Workout equipment near the middle of the lake area. Lots of overhang seating for family events. Has an open auditorium area. Also, has an outdoor skatepark that looks pretty good, I haven't used it but having been a skater in my younger days it looks fun. Playground: No shade or seating for parents but the playground has enough for the kids.
