It’s an amazing supermarket with fresh food. Great bakery. Great produce. Good salad bar. A place with tables to eat. Overall it’s a great place. I gave it four stars because it’s very expensive. With prices being out of control in all the supermarkets this supermarket sells the best but you will pay dearly. I know I can not afford to shop here.

Good place for finding the all natural or organic item for your recipe. Great cheese selection, and meat department prices are on par with Walmart, which is stunning already, but you’re getting grass fed on top of that. Good pizza bar as well.  Only beef is that they often advertise things in their flyer that they don’t have.

I love the concept of this store. It feels like a mini Whole Foods or MOMs. It's got a decent variety of produce, bulk foods, non-perishables and more. We've gotten steak and salmon from there and both were delicious. And I think it's one of the only places nearby with a reverse osmosis/alkaline water dispenser. That said, the quality of the produce and the prices of everything here keep me from shopping at Earth Fare more often. The quality of the produce is very inconsistent. Berries and veggies are regularly moldy or obviously not fresh. A good percentage of the produce is not organic, which is frustrating considering how difficult it is to find organic produce in Williamsburg. Moreover, the prices are crazy high. I once ended up spending $17 on a standard bag of GRAPES. I couldn't believe it when the lady rang me up. Whenever I go, the store is almost completely dead and I think the steep pricing has a lot to do with it.

Selective courtesy and military discount. Sunday Aug 13, I'm in full police uniform sporting a high and tight as I always do. The guy in front of me is fat, long haired, and buying 5-6 six-pack of beer. The cashier asks him if he's military of veteran. He replies no. I get up there and nothing. FYI yes, I am a former Marine. I could care less about the 10% discount. It's the principle and probably the deeper issue of race and anti-police sentiment. I'm also Asian decent. So are Asians incapable of serving the US military? Are cops not veterans? Which is it? It can't because she forgot to ask....she just asked the guy in front of me! And if the management cared or question the validity of this feedback. The transaction # 227077, 8/13/2023, 12:00PM. Oh, and most grocery stores don't discount alcohol sales so what was she checking his veteran status for?!

I am a local, I run into EF for the occasional GF item or low sugar syrup for the kids’ waffles. My husband did the random stop-in for specific items the other day. The following day I questioned him about what he could have possibly spent $78 on.. when he came home with 4 items mind you, $78 isn’t THAT alarming at this severely overpriced store, but the 4 pantry items made me question. He had no idea how it could be that much, he declined a receipt and was dealing with a melting down 4-year old. Called the store, they claim he asked for $50 cash back, which he never received. He may or may not have hit the two buttons yes for cash back, $50 for amount but the store claimed the associate chased him out of the door, but he was gone. It took him a total of 10 minutes to get from the register to pulling out of the car due to the 4 year old tantrum, and he parked right at the front. Now, I am not claiming that there was any illegal behavior, but the store manager could neither tell us if the drawer was balanced or get a hold of the video. We ended up getting our $50 after 2 days of back and forth and then making the trip to the store with no one available to access the safe, BUT from now on I will be asking for a receipt, double checking my charges, and paying attention to what is going on behind the register. Clever little scheme if my assumptions are accurate…

Vegetarians and vegans alike should be able to shop and get food products from the fresh counter without being subjected to eating flesh! My best friend recently shopped at the Concord, NC location, she only wanted a mock chicken sandwich, but to her surprise the sandwich had been mislabeled and she was served cooked flesh. Someone needs to take accountability for this error. It would be all the same if she had a food allergy and something was mislabeled.

Best customer service. Shout out to i hope i say it correctly Imani for helping me out with a phone issue. Above and beyond!!! Best roast chicken. Great sushi. But, only 4 stars for the store overall because prices are Extremely high especially vitamins, supplements,  personal care items for many or all of the same brands/quality sold at Walmart, Target, Aldi, Trader Joe's. Also, meat I purchased multiple times before had expired before removing it from the shelf only to find out when getting home. Ok, if you go with promos and coupons issued with sign up for rewards programs.

Love Earth Fare! Best grass fed meats at reasonable prices, best fresh breads, love their sourdough, their philosophy on healthy eating.and the cleanliness and all products i use.

Wonderfully l selection. I shopped here three times in one week. I eat plant based, and they had so many great options I'd never tried before. I had a mix up with an order and the manger or assistant manger filled my order while I waited there . Took her like 15 minutes. Wonderful! This was great service . I always find new things to try . I think the staff is always pleasant and that’s hard to find sometimes . Great staff!

Would you like to have grilled hamburgers and hotdogs with sides for lunch, but not have to cook? You don't have to! Earth Fare will do it on Sundays from 12-3 for you. For $3.00 you can get a hamburger or hot dog they even have vegan. Sides are $2.00. Everything is delicious and served with a smile by Stephen. Hannah is your chef. I love their prepared foods department too. They have chicken salad, vegan chicken salad, hot food items, grilled vegetables, etc.  Their hot bar is awesome as well. Chris prepares daily delights for you to try out. Weekly deals here include a free small soup with a purchase of any wrap or sandwich on Tuesdays. The bakery is fantastic too. Melissa prepares assorted yummies to tempt you. My husband and I are addicted their muffins. Desiray will always be happy to help you in the meat and seafood department. The cashiers are a delight as well. I always leave with a smile on my face. Earth Fare has weekly sales. You can sign up to receive their emails and get coupons. Earth Fare sends me coupons, and keeps me up to date on what's on sale in the store weekly and on the weekend. This store is a welcome addition to Williamsburg, and we should support them.
