"The East Atlanta community dates back to the early 1800s when Creek Indians resided in the area. Today this live, work, and play community is a thriving cultural and economic district within minutes of downtown. The East Atlanta Library captures the neighborhood's vibrancy with bold bright interior colors and urban chic décor. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide views of nature and invite people from this walkable community inside. Our newly designed teen area has dedicated furnishings with wireless technology. Other features include two new study rooms with video conferencing capabilities and comfortable private seating for leisure readers. This newly renovated library offers a wide array of services to meet the needs of our diverse community"
