Seemed like the doctors there just wanted to rush me out because none of them went over the risks of the surgery with me besides just the one nerve in the lower jaw and they just hurried me to sign the papers and jabbed me with the IV and I wanted the anesthesia for the full surgery but I end of waking up halfway thru the procedure and I was looking directly in the eyes of the doctor trying to get him to help but he just proceeded to drill and pull out my last two teeth and I felt everything thing he was doing and I was doubled over in pain after and I just wanted to gtfo. Thank god I never have to go here again and will NEVER take my future kids to such an inconsiderate office.
Dr. Papadopoulos did a great job on my 4 wisdom teeth extractions. The staff was very kind and helped ease my nerves.
Dr. Kinney and his staff are absolutely amazing! I had a simple extraction done. I had one other tooth removed a few years ago and the dentist almost ripped my jaw off so I was beyond scared! However Dr. Kinney and his assistant walked me through the whole process, and truly the shots were the worst part. He was gentle as gentle as he could be pulling a tooth I did feel pressure but not much at all! It took maybe 3 minutes for him to get my tooth out and I was honestly shocked when he said he had it out! My jaw is not sore this time and there seems to be virtually no damage to my gums and no swelling! He was kind and the staff was amazing as well! I will recommend him to everyone!!
Dr. Kinney performed an expose and bond procedure on my 11 yo today. He was so great with her! She had a ton of anxiety leading up to it and I’m so thankful that he was able to make her feel so comfortable. The procedure was quick and his office staff is super friendly. Thank you Dr. Kinney!
Well, before I say what I need to, just know I see in your comments that you take no blame for anything. BUT my son came in for 2 wisdom teeth cut out. Hed never been to a dentist since he was young and was terrified. They refused to give him anything to calm him or put him out for the procedure. He says he'll never go to a dentist again. Thanks! Said he told you he was very scared and you did nothing. Didnt put him out while you CUT 2 teeth out, then sent him home with toradol that does nothing. His lymph nodes are swelled in his neck along with his whole face. I had mine done, 3 of them at once and I was put under and sent home with meds that actually helped. Reading your comments tells me YOU do nothing wrong and its ALWAYS the patients fault. I wouldnt bring an animal to you.
Took my son there to get 4 of his wisdom teeth out and they are amazing!! The staff is wonderful and very thorough in after care directions. I will definitely take my other kids their if they ever need their wisdom teeth out.
Dr. Papadopoulos was amazing and his staff were all very sweet. I had never had a tooth pulled before and was very nervous. The staff held my hand the entire time and were so gentle with me. They explained everything to me before they did anything. I would 10/10 recommend this office to anyone looking to have dental surgery. Very professional setting.
A few things: One, they called TWO DAYS before my appointment to tell me that the surgeon simply “wouldn’t be in that day” even though we scheduled the appointment months beforehand. I live three hours away I’m currently in college so I had to change all my plans and get someone to cover for me at work last minute just so I could go to a consultation appointment. I went in for my wisdom tooth surgery full of nerves. When the surgeon asked me how I was doing, I told him I was anxious, and he completely ignored me and started speaking to someone else. Thanks, really assuring!!!! Great way to treat your patients. They had me fill out a whole form regarding the anesthesia administration, which included nothing about whether or not the patient is a natural redhead. This is a really important question that needs to be asked, as gingers’ genetic mutations require more anesthesia in order for it to work. Had I not known this, I wouldn’t have said anything and probably would have woken up through the surgery. Also, they are entirely too nonchalant about prescribing opiates. As a 19 year old who honestly answered questions about drug use, I could have used a bit of a warning regarding the substance. Putting “take medications as prescribed” on a handout is NOT a proper warning. Luckily, it hasn’t been an issue for me, but I know this is not the case for a lot of others. The surgery went fine, but when I asked for the teeth they extracted, they said they can’t give them to me because it’s a biohazard. After doing some research, I’ve learned that it is indeed a biohazard, but there are no laws in place stating that patients can’t take their teeth home with them. If mothers can take home their placentas after giving birth, I sure as hell can take my own teeth, thank you very much Moral of the story is this place does not care about their patients!! Please don’t go there if you have another option.
I went in for a consultation for my wisdom teeth extraction, and the staff was very unpleasant and not friendly. The surgeon didn't even introduce himself, they couldn't sedate me, and I was extremely terrified. I resorted to going back to my normal dentist at Stoney Creek, Dr. Patterson. He had previously preformed my implant and did an incredible job at my wisdom teeth extraction, I had all 4 out by the way, just under the oral sedation and nitrous. I would never recommend ECIOMS to anyone.
They misled us to believe my 2 teens would be healed in 3 days for getting all 4 wisdom extracted. My kids jaws were swollen and bruised a week later. They got us in quickly only to want to put a dressing and us to come back again for it to be removed. Not everyone is able to continuously take off work to come to another town. They didn't wanna give them more pain pills Acted like my kids were prescription abusers. Smh. Highly do NOT recommend.
