I would not recommend east coast title. They refused to take my personal check and caused a delay in closing.  I had to deposit a new check in the attorney trust account which cleared in 1day. Yet they want us to accept their checks  at closing.

STAY AWAY for your own good!!!!!  The logistics of the operations are a DISASTER. I've worked with a LOT of Title companies during my career and this is BY FAR --- THE WORST one I've EVER had the displeasure of working with. Half of the staff is wonderful, but the other half is a NIGHTMARE --- PARTICULARLY THE OWNER!!!!! She isn't in the office on the two most important days off the week in Real Estate attendance: Fridays and Mondays!!!!! I've never encountered anything like that. Honestly...my opinion is as stated above...and I've never even seen a review here less than 4 stars. Now I understand why such a horrible rating exists. It's just unbelievable. Like --- I felt like I was being "punked" ridiculous. Worst.

Very knowledgeable company who has a team of dedicated professionals that got me to the closing table quick, they found several title issues and knew exactly how to get the job done correctly and on time. I could not have asked for a better job and would recommend to friends and family.

This title company did the search for a buyer for a house I sold.  They issued checks for the wrong amount at the closing so I had to have them reissue the checks.  They delayed the process which caused me to pay more in taxes and utilities.
