I hadn't been here in about 12 years, and my son was visiting with his wife and baby, so we were in the area and stopped in for lunch and ice cream. Don't know how I haven't been here in so long, but I will be sure to return soon because I had the most amazing bratwurst! My son and daughter-in-law had sandwiches, and they raved about everything. After lunch, we had ice cream, and that was wonderful too! Great visit and I will be back! On a side note, this place has a long history and I remember going to the original location on the day my son started pre-school 23 years ago!, so it was really neat to go there with him and his 4-month-old son! Great memories!
It's something rare today. It's a deli that makes their own provisions. I've been there a few times and the hot dogs are excellent. I've also had their pastrami a few time. It was nice a Smokey with a peppery bite. One time it was a little salty, which tells me that being homemade, it isn't exactly the same every time. You order at the counter and then they call your name when your order is ready.
We moved away from Hopewell Jct to CT a short while ago and we are still taking day trips back here to enjoy the delicious foods that are offered and stocking up on our favorites. We miss the German foods and salads, we haven't been able to find their match in CT yet so far. EF provisions offer a variety of foods, hot meals and breakfast and ice cream! There is a lovely pavilion to sit under when the weather is good and enjoy the fresh air. The entire staff is pleasant and helpful and patient while I try to make up my mind!! We will continue to come back on day trips, it's worth it.
I love a tasty cone at the Smokehaus under the Pavillion. Inside you can get a slamming BEC w SPK as the perfect morning pick me up or the best Franks around. They did a full pig for our Christmas party years back and it was amazing!!! Thank you!
One of our favorite go to place for breakfast and lunch. Food and service both are amazing. The free coffee with breakfast sandwiches is a great perk. The burger and fries are delicious and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food.
Food is delicious! Seating area is small, needs a little updating and needs to be cleaned more often, but it’s decent. Fries aren’t worth getting a side of... but the Mac & cheese bites are AMAZING! The sandwiches are delicious... my opinion they can be bigger for the price they charge, but food is good. My husband LOVED the chicken south west sandwich I might not be saying the name right! and the raspberry white chocolate scones are to die for! Omg!!!! MUST TRY!
Full service deli with cold cuts prepared fresh on-site. Ever changing sandwich menu. Small but well stocked food store for sundry groceries, snacks etc. There is an adjacent ice cream stand with a large selection of ice cream flavors and frozen custard. There's a covered seating area perfect for groups and families. Plenty of parking.
Love this place! We’ve stopped in twice on road trips down south for a quick lunch. The people are super friendly and the food was so fresh and good. They had a great kids meal options with a hoodsie cup at the end. Had a turkey blt sub that was amazing and tasted so fresh. We even got some venison sausages that were so tasty. Highly recommend this spot.
Great deli with hot food, sandwiches and an ice cream window. The hot pastrami is my go to sandwich. Been to a few events they have catered and the food is always good and they bring a team in to grill and prep food.
This place is outstanding!! Went with a group of 6 and everything we tried was delicious and authentic. The brats are incredible.
