It's a small, nice hometown style market. Only about 10 - 12 vendors there on July 6. Wine, homemade bread, kids and women's clothing, spices, some veggies from cold spring farm, breakfast and lunch food items, a pottery artist and a musician. Nice setting, Peaceful, Easy access, wholesome family place.
If you are looking for social distance summer fun for the family check out this year's East Haddam Farmers Market. They set up across Ballek's this year with tents far apart. Fesh produce, locally sourced organic meat, and fresh seafood spill out from every booth. Lot of local artisans and crafters selling food and wares. You can let the kids decide to eat among many restaurant tents like pizza, burgers, and desserts.
Great market. Will be even better as more produce is harvested. Great spot.
Great venue, good selection, well organized, easy parking and access.
A few nice, high quality vendors.
