East High School was reopened in the Fall of 2007. From 2007 until 2017, East was represented with the colors of Silver and Blue with the mascot of the Panthers. East is now back to its original Blue and Gold colors and is the Golden Bears!
East High School is an educational institution that emphasizes the three R’s—”Rigor, Relevance, and Relationships.” We are an academic community comprised of adults and students who work
interdependently to achieve the following goals: to prepare students academically and socially; to instill an appreciation for cultural diversity; and to motivate students to successfully confront challenges and
overcome barriers—so that they can become productive citizens.
Our vision at East High School is to make every child feel safe and secure by fostering a caring and creative learning environment. This learning environment will grow out of a warm relationship between students, teachers and parents. We also demand East High students to respect each other and our very diverse community.
