Arresting a DV victim???? REALLY??? This is going to be spread everywhere!!! Michelle Hood needs to be gone and any others like her that you employ!!!! And we're supposed to have trust in you guys!!!! What a disgrace!!!
Most citizens really have to comprehend the laws. Police can not stop you without presenting a reason, than make up one. My daughter was stop for no reason. However the two cops said her insurance was expired, which was false. Plan to take further actions.
My Mom is on the "Senior Emergency Check List" through the ELPD. She didn't respond to a follow-up phone call after the storm. I asked to have a wellness check-up, within a matter of minutes they called back to report she was okay and without power. I truly appreciate their service to the East Lansing community, especially our elder residents. It provides me with peace of mind as I live out-of-state. THANK YOU!
Yes, ELPD can be rather strict when it comes to traffic enforcement, but follow the rules of the road...right? As far as emergency calls, they take crime seriously. ELPD response times are fast. Their capable investigators take pride in bringing criminals to justice. As an added bonus, they are generally very professional. What more do you want from a police department?
A very committed community focus team of officers who care deeply about each of East Lansing's residents. These are very professional and personal officers who can be approached with ease. Also, each member is very knowledgeable and respectful.
More profiteering than policing. They use Grand River as a piggy bank, and create excessive traffic speed variability #1 predictor of accidents while doing so. It's so rampant they even have an online, streamlined way to plead to a more expensive civil infraction rather than getting points for a moving violation. A mockery of real law enforcement.
The team is very understanding and very supportive when I had a family situation. They helped very swiftly. I feel much safer when we see such a team. Especially officer Chad Pride.
Michelle Hood is very unprofessional and is disgusting she represents you as a town. She needs to be reevaluated as a police officer.
5 stars when it comes to monopolizing force to rob people in the name of the tyrannical revenue stream that is traffic and parking enforcement. ACAB
Ordinary traffic stop ain't nothing big, don't know why you all are freaking out.
