East Orange City Police Department

These people in the entire department is the worst person that God has ever created. They have no heart, no conscience, no love nothing at all that's good and decent in them I'm pretty sure God is sorry he created them. They should be ashamed of themselves and how the treat people in their community. Especially the ones on the roads . Wrecking people lives no conscience if they ever stop you in east orange your done for they give all 5 tickets for no reason they are a wicked set of people. Stay away from them as best as possible ! What they forget is that there is a GOD

The worst set of people ever. Ghetto, rude, don’t know how to talk to people, just terrible. I think they just hire anybody to be officers in east orange. I hate having to deal with officers from eo. Don’t get me wrong they have a set of officers that are really nice, caring, respectful, and know how to talk to people. But majority of them are terrible and need to be fired, respectfully.

I want to publicly thank the law enforcement officers of East Orange NJ. I'm from Chicago, but my son lives in East Orange and he has had contact with the East Orange NJ law enforcement department. On February 13, 2020, my was fired son from his job. Later that evening the police were called, because of a noise complaint. I'm sure that my son was quite upset and maybe less than polite. I have heard of African American men, shot by the police for little nothing. My son is managing depression with manic episodes. I'm not sure if the responding officers were aware of it, I doubt it, but they were PROFESSIONAL all the same. My son received the necessary attention that he needed. Every day since I received the call that the police were called to my son's apartment, I have been extremely grateful for the officers that responded to that call.

If I could give them no stars I would!!!!!!!!!!!! These policeman are extremely rude and unprofessional. A bunch of A**holes who love being disrespectful and are no help. My mom’s car was stolen and the same day the car was found and processed and we were never notified!! My mom kept calling them and she was met with rude remarks and dead ends. She finally got through to a state police in Irvington and was told, they found the car. Now we have to pay over $700 to get out of the towing company. East Orange is extremely unfair and 100% evil!!!!!!

Wish I could give these guys no star, the old woman in the service desk should get her sorry self out a there, she inside limping an miserable and sad. She don’t know how to deal with the public… worst..

This police department need to train there officers better .i was stop I had one officer came up to my car n ask nicely for my documents.had a another car with officers came run up to my car cussing for no reason.i hope someone from the high level see this . Because one day someone is gonna sue the city.these cops can’t even speak to people in a proper way

I have had several encounters with EOPD. Some officers are professional and courteous even when I wasn't totally so, others let the authority go to their heads or the stress of the job affect them. Today, I just had a white-shirted officer try to intimidate me because I wouldn't show ID and tell someone else to lock me in at a city facility. She told me I could call the police to get out. I also had one arrest me because she thought I was talking about her to another officer and arrested me because of that Officer GF. The officers at the jail "lost" my paperwork, causing me to be in the cell an extra day. I didn't realize what chaos the department is in.

This department has caused me the most grief ever in my life. They had my vehicle towed on their error, due to there neglect of not updt there system. Now I'm stuck with a tow bill of $408 that I dnt have. I have to then make a claim through them to get reimbursed. After weeks of waiting they denied my claim stating they needed more information.when I provided not only the tow bill, the police officer name that took the report and the report number. How much more information do you need. They officially SUCK.

Stop by an officer who gave me a ticket to obviously meet her over ticketing quotas she said that I was speeding on a residential zone and gave me a ticket for careless driving something that was a completely lie. Im a Man with a disability Ill never will put any live on risk. Im so offended. Ill never gonna be driving again in East Orange.

Most disrespectful, rude people when you go into the precinct. The cops you encounter on the streets are no better, especially the women! They are the nastiest bunch of broads I've ever come across in my life!! They behave as if the law does not apply to them, on the phone all the time, parking anywhere...such hypocritical standards. Worst of all is they harass law abiding citizens that pay the ridiculously high taxes in this raggedy city that funds their paychecks instead of fighting some real damn crime!
