the elevator is always broken or smelly. why it's never serviced, I don't know. last time I looked a homeless person was sleeping in it underneath covers and cardboard
East Orange Train Station is fairly well maintained. Fortunately it is equipped with an elevator and is handicap accessible unlike Brick Church Station a few blocks down. Downside is that NJ transit into downtown Newark and NYC doesn't always stop at this station. East Orange City Hall and the US Postal Service are directly downstairs and parking is seamless.
