I got into a car accident and Office Gatten badge number 1616 wrote down the wrong information. She wrote I turned right to enter the gas station when in actuality the accident happened when I turned left into the gas station. There is not even a gas station on the right hand side so it’s impossible that I would have said that. Because of her error, the insurance company is saying I am at fault for the accident. In order to correct the information, I have called this station 8 times and left messages. They even tried sending her a message through the police portal to give me a call back or even allow me to set up an appointment. It’s been two weeks since I’ve attempted contacting her with no response from her or the station. Yesterday I left a message for her sergeant to give me a call since I am unable to reach officer Gatten. He still has not called me back even after 24 hours. I find it sick that police treat the people they are supposed to serve like this.
Rude and pathetic, I contacted this station due to a car accident I was in and the officer stated to call here to get more information. Well whoever answered the phone tried to talk over me and even started laughing after I said to let me talk first. Which I proceeded to tell her how unprofessional of her to do that. She tried to say she was laughing at something else but when you are in a career where customer service is your number one role you should be more professional about it. You wouldn’t be laughing in a serious work meeting would you? Avoid this place and calling at all costs
The whole department is rude. I called because I was in an car accident and did not get to leave my statement because I was automatically put into an ambulance. I called and said “ I didn’t get to leave a statement “ and the lady on the phone said “ ANNNND ? “ in a very condescending and rude tone. San Antonio needs to evaluate and listen in on phone calls received by this location because obviously there is no customer service.
This is the nicest substation. The officers I dealt with were not judgemental and kept an open mind about the situation I was there for. Only complaint is some people when they are at the front desk need to be more professional. *my situation with my ex ended with him in jail and a restraining order. The detective that helped me thru it all was so nice making sure I was safe and helped me with the restraining order making sure I knew where to go, what I needed,etc... I am greatly for his help and everyone else at this substation. They're the best one in SA.*
While I cannot speak of all the officers there, at least 2 come to mind. One Officer Bennett and Sgt. Cabazos. Arrogant, lax in their duties, condescending, and have a feeling they rub elbows with the unsavory types on the east side of town. If something smells rotten then it probably is. Their inability to properly handle what was clearly an assault case on a member of my family they concluded as mutual combat, leaves no doubt why police in general are labeled as incompetent in their line of work. And I apologize for the good officers who roped in with these types. Do not expect them to help you, they are clearly there just for a paycheck and kickbacks. I hope you are exposed for who you truly are.
The reason why people hate cops. Called about an abandoned car in my neighborhood and "Mrs. Montalvo" just kept talking over me rudely and would not answer any questions, just kept repeating herself like a robot. Super rude and unprofessional.
Unprofessional police officer. Very disrespectful when dealing with women. These officers are not heroes they are a menace to society.
The worst call I've made and worst information I've received.. I got transferred to multiple people who were all very much rude
They came and helped out when we needed. Very professional and helpful.
Some of them are OK some of the time...some of the time only some of the time
