We’ve been to this emergency center a couple of times and each time has been a great experience. With each visit we’ve been treated with care, kindness and by quality healthcare professionals. Tonight especially - Susanne RN was exceptional with my little boy. She was helpful, wise, aware and very professional. She’s definitely one of the best nurses we’ve seen….anywhere! She made the experience a nice one. Dr Willams was also great. He was easy to talk to and thorough in his examination and instructions. I left tonight grateful that this facility is in the area - so close to home. We definitely will come again….if we have to
Horrible experience will never go back and will never refer anyone there. Took my husband in, spent 4 hours there saw the doctor for a whole 30 seconds of that 4 hours, I couldn't even tell you what his name is. The two nurses were nice but unfortunately struggled as well. Coming from someone who works in the medical field bedside manner goes a long ways. The nurse is who sorta gave us my husband's CT results but couldn't explain it for us. Then my husband was just sent to the main hospital for them to stop everything that was started at the Pleasant view ER. My confidence in that ER is officially gone, I will never return. Oh and lastly just food for thought take the IPads with cameras OUT of the exam rooms where patients are undressing and having procedures done "during registration time".
I just want to let you know, if you go to this ER please be aware of a company they use that has horrible ratings and reviews, they are called Emergency Physicians Integrated, EPIC. This company in all its 78 1 star reviews are horrible to work with and apparently like to just send their customers to collections. I never got a bill from them and then was sent to collections, this ER uses this company. So if you do go here be on the lookout for a bill from Emergency physicians Integrated so you don’t get sent to collections as well. Ogden Regional should demand better 3rd party companies, is it not okay the way this company treats its customers.
Took my boyfriend Tuesday night for severe upper back pain and upset stomach with vomiting. They only gave him versed an anti anxiety med that made him pass out and feel loopy and toradol. Than sent him on his way. The doctor was very inattentive and RUDE. The nurse was very kind. Took him to another ER tonight because his symptoms got worse and turns out he has a severe double kidney infection. This could have been treated earlier if the doctor would have just taken his time and actually wanted to care for my boyfriend. I will never go back to this ER.
Editing to add notice how they said boyfriend and not husband like they didn’t even read the review. They don’t care about patients at all… Never ever go here. They don’t care at all about their patients. My husband went here on 09/03 and was told he was just having pain from stomach acid. When I pushed the dr on why his pain was so bad he gave no explanation and did zero testing on his stomach/abdomen area. Just his chest. Fast forward to a week later and we’re back in the er we did not go back here because of the terrible experience and they found he had a ton of gallstones. It should have been found a week ago. If you need a hospital go anywhere else. This place is the absolute worst.
terrible bedside manner from nearly every doctor. they don’t listen to patients and instead just come up with a diagnosis that fits none of the symptoms. their favorite thing to say is that it is all in your head and that there is nothing they can do. definitely needs some adjustment
Great staff, clean areas and they listen to you. I've been a repeat visitor to them and they handle my ptsd with the upmost care. I want to especially say thank you to nurse suesan sorry for the bad name spelling but she is amazing and was very helpful with my ptsd. Thank you all!
Excellent staff, very professional and caring. Taken straight to private room, x-rays in the room. 24/7 Emergency Room Care
This is a ghetto, sorry excuse of an emergency room. This emergency room does not even offer the patients pillows. I would leave no stars if I could. My mother was treated here after a car accident and the staff was so rude. One of the nurses was eavesdropping on her registration and said “I couldn’t help but overhear your area code. Where are you from?” That is a violation of patient privacy and she should really be doing her job, not overhearing. She was also rude to my mother and seemed annoyed to be doing her job, so why is she still working? The fat and bald security guard was rude to my father for trying to get my mother a pillow and blanket, WHICH IS THE BARE MINIMUM. The nurse was also giving my mother a shot in her rear end while my mother was getting her registration done through the little sign in screen in her room. This is unprofessional behavior coming from medical personnel and it’s disappointing to see. Don’t come here if you have serious injuries, it’s a joke.
We have a one month old premature baby who was born at 34 weeks. She had a 24 hour fever. We were turned away by wee care who wouldn’t touch her because she was premature. They advised us to go to the emergency room. When we showed up we were immediately greeted by the kindest security guard who showed us to a room. He came in several times to assist us with registering, and also brought in a stuffed animal for both dad and I while we were waiting for test results. He shared that his son had open heart surgery when he was a baby and he still had memories of what he went through so he could sympathize with us. The nurses we had were two males who were both very kind and professional. They had to insert an IV and the nurse who did it took such care in finding a good vein so he wouldn’t have to poke her more than once. She weighs 6 lbs so her veins are extremely small. I appreciated him taking his time and being professional. He kept asking if dad and I were ok during all the testing. He also was very helpful on giving us expectations on wait times throughout the process. The doctor was a female and was kind, prompt, Professional, and she explained everything they were doing, and what to expect. Taking any of your children to the emergency room regardless of age can be stressful. I have 4 other children so it’s not my first visit. I would recommend each person we interacted with to any of my friends or family. It’s not every day you come across people who genuinely care and pay attention to everyone during the process. Thank you for taking care of our little princess Calzey. Hopefully we don’t see you again, but if we do we know we will be in good hands!
