The Parks and Recreation Department is an active and proud member of the East Windsor community. We strive to offer programs and community based events that allow for life long leisure experiences. We work closely with the schools and other town agencies and departments to accomplish this goal. This year we were able host a variety of family fun events including our Panther Plunge for the EW Fuel Bank, our Limerick contest which was featured at the Four Town Fair and our Annual Easter and Halloween events. Our summer camps saw record numbers and we were able to provide beautiful fields to both East Windsor Youth Soccer and the East Windsor Little League organizations. These fields that host both our youth sports and adult leagues are proudly maintained through a great partnership with the Department of Public Works. The Parks and Recreation Commission is comprised of five members appointed by the Board of Selectmen. The Commission meets on the second Monday every other month at our office inside East Windsor High School at 6 P.M. Residents are encouraged to attend the meetings to be part of our better East Windsor campaign. We strive to provide a great service to the residents of East Windsor and hope to continue to do that as our town sees more growth.
