Through the Eastchester After School Youth program (EASY), we offer affordable after-school supervision for elementary and middle school-aged children. Children are provided with opportunities to complete homework, spend time with friends, try new activities and pursue their individual interests in a safe and friendly atmosphere.
At EASY, we aim to provide something for everyone. Children are encouraged to select from a variety of enrichment programs that support math, science, language arts, and social development, including educational and recreational computer access, arts & crafts, cooking, indoor and outdoor sports and games, and a quiet, supervised homework room. In addition, we plan regular trips and special activities and provide a nutritious snack daily.
We encourage self-confidence, self-expression, responsibility, decision-making and respect for others. We celebrate the diversity represented in our children and staff. EASY is staffed by a Director and Teaching Assistants of the highest quality, many of whom have degrees in early childhood education.
The EASY program is held in the Eastchester School District. Our rates are reasonably priced and the enrollment fee enables your child to use the program on a scheduled or drop-in basis.
Hours are from 2:45-6:30 pm daily and we are open on conference and early dismissal days (vacation programs announced separately).
