The Eastern Adams Regional Police Department was formed in 1991. The department provides 24/7/365 police services to Oxford Township and New Oxford Borough; which are home to more than 7,500 residents.
•In 1992, the EARP provided police coverage for Berwick and Oxford Townships.
•In 1998, the Borough of New Oxford joined the EARP and has been a member since that time.
•The EARP is governed by a police commission which comprises New Oxford Borough and Oxford Township.
The mission of the Police Department is to provide leadership to promote individual responsibility and a commitment to improving the community’s quality of life through crime control and public safety while serving all people with respect, fairness and compassion.
