Nostalgia & soft play area is a favorite. Fun to window shop and buy the occasional novelty. Kids enjoy it too and weather is never an issue. Pop up Halloween store "Spirit" is always fun to visit too. Spencer's & Hot Topic are favorites as well.
I grew up walking the halls of this mall and my oh my how sad it is to see it so empty.. I'm very hopeful this corner of Eastgate will get some attention. They have so much potential here. They still have Kholes band a few other locations open. You use to be able to spend the whole day here and not see everything, now it takes an hour at best. I truly hope they invest some money into this place. I have so many ideas, as I'm sure many to for this depleted mall.. Definitely a reminder of yester years. Here's hoping the county puts some money to save it! I was telling my son about how they use to have a movie theater here in the lot. Nonetheless I give it a 5 for nostalgia and the hopes they will bring it back to life!
The mall is sad and dying, but there is still an air of Christmas cheer. Santa was wonderful, the picture packages are a bit pricey, but that's not the fault of the mall. The few stores that are left open were busy and bustling, even at 6p.m on a Wednesday. I'm sad to see indoor malls go by the wayside, but this is still a nice shopping center. It's clean and well-decorated, the bathrooms are all in decent shape.
Kohl's is One of my favorite places to shop for clothing! Normal prices are high, but they usually have a lot of things significantly marked down. Their rewards program and Kohl's cash are great, but my reason for 4 stars is due to how quickly your rewards and Kohl's cash expire, but that's an issue corporate needs to address.
Awesome mall full of some of the best shops for a teen or nerd... Arcade, D&D, Hot topic and spirit all together. Most malls I've been to near where I live don't have much of these things anymore for some reason, it was good to see them here. I would love to come back if I didn't live 1000 miles away
I usually go to this mall whenever I'm out near EastGate. I think the design of the mall is great; It has a vast food court with many decent fast food restaurants, rides for the small ones, etc. The mall is great for younger crowds and people with families, so that's a plus too. The mall is great for the most part, but I unfortunately have to give this mall 4 stars because of the employees. Me and my family have went into certain stores only to have some employees side-eying us or them completely ignoring us whenever we walk in. The rest of the stores within the mall are great, but some of these stores put a bad taste in my mouth. I believe this mall can get a 5 star review from me if these stores can have their employees go through more customer service training because you shouldn't be working in Customer Service if you have a sour disposition.
The mall is making great strides to bring in new retailers. I expect this mall to become a town center like Anderson overtime. The four star is due to the bathroom maintenance.
Just like most malls, it's has lost its popularity. Food court has so little variety. Only one anchor store. Unless who want to go to a specific store there, it's a waste of time.
The New Place in the food court that went in called Gyros is AWESOME!! My chicken philly was full of meat, it had great flavor .My husband and I had to split it. The fries are double breaded. Yummy. The service is slow but everyone has growing pains. BUT IT IS WORTH the wait. Trust me. EVERYTHING looked awesome. Go check them out and while you are there do a little shopping at one of the still LAST standing malls!!
Love it especially Hot topics I think this one of the best store is in there I love the fact that they give you coupons for $15 off or added to 15 you spend we have gotten so many cool clothes that my granddaughter has chosen herself and feel so confident in.
