Eastlake was very helpful and accommodating my wife when she passed away suddenly I had planned to use another funeral home but they were quite rude to me. We had a traditional funeral followed by cremation. The individual who prepared her for viewing did a wonderful job, and was compassionate to me and her family. I would use them againagain a again again without
I had gone to Best funerals first then they said to go to Eastlake. Neither one of them were helpful in any way.
Our family was contacted that East Lake Mortuary is where my mother's body was after her passing. They have lied multiple times to my sister and I. We just want her remains sent back to Georgia to be with our family again. We have paid the cremation costs, as well as given them our information to send the certification of death. Angela was the point of contact. I would never wish this company to any family that has lost someone.
We were notified my uncle was sent too their location and called to verify and the receptionist was rude and very heartless and then I get a call back from Chaplean Garrett he was a little better but not positive with families. I feel that they need too be a little more compassionate with families and embrace the grieving family and guide them much better through their process. At the end Chaplean Garrett and Angela were a lot more helpful but the beginning was very bumpy
After leaving Eastlake this morning I felt compelled to leave a review. Mr.Garrett has assisted my family multiple times through these hard times. His professionalism and willingness to make this process as smooth as possible is admirable. God bless.
it was a very emotional time for my family. I talked to Rick he was the one who helped me and my family with things that needed to be done to have my mom service taken care of. Rick and all other staff was very helpful and caring. My family and I really appreciate all they had done. A BIG THANK YOU TO EASTLAKE MORTUARY FOR ALL THEIR HELP!
I can only say this and be as honest as I can as i would never do a running business harm by banter and bashing staff or work performance. Chaplain Garrett was helping me with moms prep and deciding how I was going to go about where and how her final preparation and end result , funeral or cremation. A NUMBER OF SNAFUS CAUGHT ME IN A BIT OF A BIND. Chaplain Garret was good about things up until about 4 weeks ago. THEY HAVE MOMS ASHES , and now refuse to answer my emails, at the moment I had to decide , I could not arrange moms body be flown back east due to cost and logistics. I had no knowledge of how to go about doing this transfer, time was a big factor we had to make a choice, I signed off on cremation and the good news was the county stepped in and took care of the cost, which helped, getting all moms info from years ago on double plot was daunting as ever. So now I would like to pick mom up and it seems she is being held for some type of ransom. Chaplain Garrett has been avoiding me. Not nice! I will give this another try and if i cant get results my nice persona will not be as nice. But I will not jump the gun here and over react, Today by 5 pm I will have a follow up, I am giving Eastlake a 5 star rating only because of my dealings then, the star count may change , to ??? We will see how they handle this situation, honestly I am done playing around and there are ways to handle this that makes it a difficult dealing with......lets hope they are ready to hand over something that means the world to me. And I really hate doing this type of review, but I have no choice. So Chaplain Garrett, don't get yourself involved in something in poor taste. Your a man of GOD , I grew up catholic and was an alterboy 2 years serving my parish and helping our rectory and what ever priest was on to do 5am mass. From start to finish I knew I was doing the right thing. 5 bright yellow stars coming from me, lets keep it that way please. Thank you, JRZ-JIM
Just want to say that this was an awesome place. They care of all the foot work, very organized. Rick and all staff very compassionate and I would recommend them to anyone who would need service at a very emotional time. The family and I felt comfortable with them.. a great BIG THANK YOU TO EAST LAKE MORTUARY FROM THE CAMACHO FAMILY!
My experience with Eastlake Mortuary and staff has always been extremely helpful, kind and courteous. I have a multi-ethnic family and my entire family, even my parents who are very tough cookies would go no where other than Eastlake. Thank you Eastlake for always being there to serve my family.
I recently used Eastlake when my son passed away. They were courteous, efficient, and answered all my questions in a timely manner. Everything was done on time when they said it would be. I would recommend their services to anyone in their time of need.
