Be careful with this group of doctors, they have 3 Practitioners who act as Doctors, give opinions and determine the treatment to be followed, and yet the Doctor in charge, Doctor Tomas Saucedo, MD, does not bother to check the patients, and He lets his practitioners decide, maybe they review the files while drinking coffee, but that is not enough, because patients expect more from them.
I was referred to this place by Altamed when I sprained my ankle. I was suppose to make an appointment with a doctor, so I called them up. Everything was set for the next day, Tuesday. Upon getting there I told the nurse was there for appointment with the doctor. She goes "that doctor isn't in until Friday." I gave her my information and sure enough my appointment was set for Tuesday. I did not have to wait too long. But upon meeting my doctor, he asked me if I had the x rays of my sprain. I told him no, so that was the end of the appointment, he did not want to proceeded with the appointment. I was so confused, this was suppose to be a follow up appointment of sorts to see how extensive my sprain was. As an orthopedic office, I figured they st least have an x ray machine. I asked for crutches since my visit to urgent car could not provide me with any. Without missing a beat his response was "where did you get the wheelchair?" We had to inform him the wheelchair was from HIS office. He does not know the damage of my sprain, but he suggested I have theory. And I would be out of work until our next appointment, in a month. I go to the window to set up the therapy, and I was set on the exact same day as my follow up appointment in a kinth! This place feels so unorganized, I set up another appointment with another orthopedic for a second opinion.
Receptionist is the worst. Don't be late. Receptionist is very quick to turn you away and good luck getting an appointment. She doesn't consider a new patient situation nor the fact that there's three windows each with a line and only one sign that isn't even helpful. I was only 10min late and was turned away. A month later on my rescheduled appointment same receptionist was ok with someone being 18min late. This was upsetting. I waited 40 minutes to be seen which was expected so why give people a hard time,
The rudest, worse office I have every dealt with. Doctor ask me to return in a month, and I requested 3 weeks because I was going out of town. The receptionist nurse said "no", without explanation. I missed an appointment, and told office I didnt receive a reminder call or text, her rude answer- we don't do that here". There is a way to answer people with different tone and softening words, they can not do that. I don't think they graduated high school. Dont waste your time with this office
This office is so hard to get a hold of over the phone. Not only that, but I have asked the receptionist to change my number on at least 3 separate occasions. And still haven't gotten that taken care of. And also been dealing with knee/hip pain for MONTHS now and have not been able to get no type of restrictions for work because they think it's not necessary. I tried ONCE again for the third time to get any restrictions from the dr today and he couldn't even confront me about it and had the receptionist do it for him.
I'm not one to leave reviews, however; after being in so much pain decided to call this place referred by my regular DR, I've NEVER dealt with a less professional office than this one. I've called over and over for an appointment and no one seems to check voice messages. Left 4 voice messages and no one bothers to call back. I've called many times 4 days in a row and no one answers the phone. However; for lunch hour there is a voice recording, for what???? no one returns calls!!! If they don't care to return a phone call, why bother. Unprofessional and USELESS. I'll take my money elsewhere.
Today was the first time I called in for a apt , The operator answer phone I asked for the appt desk was transferred and girl answer and ask what kind of ins I had I answered her question and before I could ask for her name was put on hold ...and there I stood for over 8mins , So I call the office once again on a different phone while I am sill waiting on line on first phone . The operator answer and I asked for the appt desk ONCE AGAIN she said the office was CLOSED !!!!! this totally wrong unacceptable !! It's Friday after 4:00pm now . was not awhere your office closed at 4:00pm ,your web site need to be updated it says close at 5:00pm. I have no problem with this BUT your office staff really needs to follow up on her calls I hope the rest of your staff is more professional and understand these are medical problems I am calling for . So now I have to wait until Monday and hopefully I speck to a person with phone etiquette & courtesy . I'm sure if I was her mom and treated this way , she would not like it. Its Friday afternoon so im just guessing she's a young lady and in a hurry to leave the office to get ready to go out .. Sorry I shouldn't judge ..But I've dealt & seen to many young people that do not take there Job serous. Its Sad but true. I hope this matter is taking care of . Good Luck
My father needs an urgent knee replacement he already had replaced over 20 years ago. He needed a second replacement 10 years ago. We went to Eastside Orthopedic Medical Associates where Dr. Tomas Saucedo agreed that he does need a knee replacement. When Matthew D Longacre saw him, he said he did NOT need a knee replacement. My father is in constant pain with knee swelling and sent him back to work in his current state. He seems to not care about his patients. Matthew D Longacre also was unprepared without any of my father x-rays so we had to make a second appointment, to which he completely rejected to operate on. If you are with Alta-Med DO NOT WASTE your time with this surgeon. Ask for a referral for a different surgeon. Staff also seemed to not care about appointments. Always late after lunch.
Great office I have no problems that are good fast and on it very clean to the point nice friendly.
They are so slow taking in patients. If you have an appointment they won’t see you till an hour after! Sometimes longer! What’s the point of an appointment then if they won’t see you on time?!
