This place had very delicious food. Beef Stew - Very flavorful broth. The beef was so very tender and tasty. Every ingredient in this Stew was cooked perfectly. It had yucca carrots onions squash and of course the big chunks of beef. The flavors are expertly well balanced. I absolutely loved it. The Pupusas- I watched as they were prepared fresh to order. The ingredients in these were perfectly balanced as well. The exterior had a bit of crisp on them which made these corn meal delights addicting. Steak Taco- Freshly made seemingly typical except for the steak flavor. The steak was very well seasoned and not like what you get in the Mexican style. Very delicious as well. The green hot sauce- Absolutely perfect!! Such a well balance of heat and spices made this sauce easy to eat for anyone in the mid range heat category. The Tamarind Fruit Juice- Once again just amazing in flavor and addicting. I could drink a whole pitcher of that stuff. Also very well balanced flavoring. The Star of the meal- The slaw was the best I have ever had in any way!! This slaw was not wet but still had a flavor that was so expertly balanced. I couldn't get enough of it. If you like a vinegar style slaw with a slight sweetness, this is it. I loved the fact that it was not juicy and the flavor was infused into the cabbage. The place was clean and small. The staff was absolutely awesome. This place is Authentic El Salvadorian food and I highly recommend it! I will return to try more specials and get more Pupusas.
Completely AMAZING FOOD!! Located at the corner of Franklin Street and 11th, it is not the busy section of downtown and is a perfect meal with a twist! Had an amazing plate of chicken street tacos and fried plantains while there for a quick lunch...I can’t wait to go back!
Very delicious homemade food. Everything is made to order. Takes a little bit of time but definitely worth it. I had the Chimichanga because that's my go to order when I try a new restaurant and it was delicious. I got their signature dish on the side a pupusa. OMG so delicious. if you have picky kids they have hamburgers and fries on the kids menu. So worth the visit. Warning you will leave full and happy. they take credit cards too.
Went for lunch with my family on a week day and loved it. The place is very small but very clean and the employees were very friendly. We had pupusas and an order of empanadas. They were delicious!
This is a great little place to eat. We had never eaten El Salvadoran food, but we were very pleased and will definitely go back. It's affordable and the ladies working there were very friendly. It's in a sketchy part of town and parking us very limited so arrive well before dark.
I went to this place to experience a sensation that I did not feel long ago. I had to drive from Nashville to try the best Salvadoran food in the country. The taste of the food is incredible and the attention is the best. I totally recommend this place, it was definitely worth the trip.
The food here is SOOOOOO GOOD. I got the Pupusa which was awesome. The owner is just starting out, so don't let the building fool you. The parking is very small and the location is in the poor area, but the food is very well worth the visit. If the building was in any of the high traffic areas of Clarksville, it would be packed. The ladies are very nice. I will DEFINITELY eat here more often. The prices are decent as well. $2.50 for 1 Pupusa. I ordered 2 not knowing how big or small they were which was in the area of a small saucer plate.
Amazing popusas, I had the one with cheese and ayote not sure what it was but it was delicious, I also ordered the chicken breast with came with rice, salad and beans, great seasoning, delicious food, worth the trip we drove there from Nashville after a friend recommended it. The service closed the deal for me, they were friendly, courteous and patient, they explained what the food contained, since it was new to me I had many questions. I recommend it!
This place is amazing. Wonderful food. Friendly service. The atmosphere is incredibly homey. It feels like going to eat at you friends house. The pupusas are the best I have had.
The traditional Salvadoran dishes are exquisite. I’m sure the more Mexican ones are great too . You can get Mexican at a few decent places but I don’t think you will find anything better with the Salvadoran dishes anywhere close to here.5 stars baby.
