My dog Shelby absolutely loves the dog park I highly recommend it to any dog lovers.
Love taking my dog here. This park is not free. You have to pay $45 a year and be a resident of Chesterfield. That being said its very clean and well kept. All the dogs must be fixed and up to date on vaccines. If you live in the area it’s worth the money, especially if you have a dog that likes to run. They have one section for small dogs under 20 lbs and one section for all dogs.
Don’t speak to anyone. There are some Karens hanging about checking on you. They will call the volunteer police creep who can’t stand retirement and whose wife hates him. He will grope your dog for a tag without permission and tell you to leave. The same dept who was hiding cameras in the restroom at the mobile down the road and peeping on kids. Totally avoid this town if you can.
Nice park. We've met only one non-friendly dog there. Shady areas & water bowls for the pups are available. The water feature on the bigger dog side is under repair. It will be better once that is back up and running
Its a wonderful dog park for the residents of chesterfield. Please be aware only its residents are allowed to purchase a yearly permit to benefit their pets. Its a nice place to catch a sunset. Update: the city now issues a limited number of dog park permits for residents outside the municipality.
So glad I found out about this place! I've been taking my dog here once/twice a week here. You have to pay to get the code, but it's worth it. Dogs are separated by < 20lbs and >20lbs but pretty much all dogs can go in >20lbs. Watch where you step though - some owners don't bother to pay attention to where their dogs go and it doesn't get picked up..
Today was our first day at the park and my dog River loved it! Respectful owners, clean park, it was just after the snow melted so a tiny bit muddy but overall a great experience!
Traveling with furry kids, but we can't visit cause it's not worth the cost, especially if humans can't clean up after there furry friends. DON'T YOU PEOPLE KNOW THAT YOUR DOG WILL STEP IN IT THEN YOUR GOING TO PUT THEM IN YOUR VEHICLE THEN YOUR HOUSE, SICK, YOU SHOULD HAVE YOUR PETS TAKEN FROM YOU, BAD HUMANS!!
So cute, such a good vibe, and an awesome place for dogs to play. It even has a little waterfall/pond for dogs to play in if they want and a covered seating area!
The city of chesterfield does not allow for travelers passing through to use their dog parks, even just for an hour. the dog parks are membership only for residents of chesterfield. They do not even allow you to pay for a day pass.
