I live in Oshawa Ontario., Few years back during Xmas I believe it was Dec. 27th, anyways took go train and TTC to get there. I was wanting a couple parts for my EM1 to find out that they were closed for inventory. Very bummed out. Decided to ask for the parts and they stopped what they were doing and helped me with everything I need. And I believe that they included the hardware also. I had a great experience and will definitely return.
Monique was friendly and helpful! It's nice to see a Canadian company that is dedicated to more eco-friendly and accessibility-minded products. They have pocket bikes, small version of luxury cars for kids that the parents can also control by remote, ebike that pedal, have adjustable motor assist, scooters, mobility scooters, off road bikes, motorcycle like ebike. Im probably forgetting some as well. They also have maintenance at all there stores so you're not alone after you buy the product. Free parking and plugin spots for your bike out front! Ebikes are worth the cost when you have no insurance, no gas, and no guilty conscience.
Ebike Universe has been the leader in Ebikes in Toronto. The staff is always knowledgeable and their selection of vehicles is unmatched. I have purchased a few bikes over the years, most recently being a Paris 48v Long Range for my g/f in the fall at their North York location ... I was in the area and decided to stop in and see what they had new in the showroom, Akili was happy to help and always had a smile on his face during our interaction ... He showed me the new stuff and gave me tons of information about each vehicle ... It's a great little showroom that's worth the visit if you are in the area!
Friendly and helpful staff, competitive pricing, lots of parking and a good display of ebikes, traditional and motorcycle style. Kids scooters, kids cars. Nice place to look around. I bought 1 bike for my friend and she loves it.
I wrote a review last week for this place last week. Said that they don't sell locks for ebikes, which most people spending thousands on a bike would NEED. They wrote me back saying, essentially, that I was stupid, I should've checked the website. Not in so many words, but it was pretty clear and condescending. Then went on to say that I shouldn't expect an ebike store to sell locks anyway. Yeah, like I'm going to spend $4000+ on something I can't lock up. Ebike and proper locks go hand in hand. I drove my bike to the store. It was one of your staff who told me, "No, we don't sell locks here." I didn't go on the website, but what would it matter if I had, when your employee told me you don't sell locks or chains. EDIT: I went there to get an estimate on the cost of fixing my brakes, and the bored looking, borderline rude woman told me that, 'They only repair bikes that they sell, no others.' Seems like a really good way to not make money.
Went to them on Tuesday noon and an African American lady was there. I asked if they can help me with my flat tire and she made a disgusted face and then she said they don't have that size tube. Even if it's true this lady should learn some customer service.
My one year old ebike scooter Arrow stop working. I purchased my bike from Ebike Universe ,and I was hopping that they can help me with my bike problem. I got very unprofessional lady , very arrogant on the phone. I am very desappointed with this service.
Wonderful guys very kind and helpful . We bought a max s and had difficulty with some part, after talking with Moniqa, she solved it with smile in a less than hour . Really appreciate. I will recommend this store to everyone.
The Sales person Monique was knowledgeable and answered all my questions and allowed me to browse at my own pace , no pressure, no sales tactics, just a genuinely enjoyable experience and I now have an EM1 that I have customized, and made it my own. I bought it at a great price and it has been indispensable. NO INSURANCE. NO LICENCE. NO GAS. NO PROBLEM..... Ebike Universe Scarborough the number. #1 When it comes to E-TRANSPORTATION Simply the best.
Very bad customer service. Dont go to this store. The lady who brought the ebike out to show us didn't allow for test drive. She was very rude. She is like if you want to buy just give me the money or get out of here.
