I recently stayed at this motel and found it to be quite decent, especially considering its location, affordability, and cleanliness. However, I must point out that the breakfast options were a bit limited, with no eggs and a lack of variety. Additionally, I had a slightly uncomfortable experience during check-in as the staff member assisting us had a smoking smell, which made it a bit challenging to communicate face to face. Despite these minor issues, the overall stay was satisfactory.
Absolutely awful!!! Horrible place! We went to see our room and Not only did they mess up the room we booked but when we asked to be moved to our original correct room, the room we booked and called to confirm it was the room we wanted beforehand, the RUDE desk man told us that either we take the room he gave us or pay in full for a new roomagain the room we had already booked and paid for. He wouldn’t even give us back the pay difference in the rooms. There were no towels and the room smelled of old mold. I’d contribute part of the reason the room smelled so bad was because there was no air conditioning. There are two of us and we decided to have a friend over. Singular friend. One. After multiple calls to our room asking how many people were in the room and telling the desk man the same thing every time. That we had us 2 and 1 friend. After about an hour or so of having said friend over we get a rather rude and unprofessional call to our room. Letting us know that if our friend doesn’t leave that they will call the cops. Mind you the only thing that we had done in that hour or so was talk and play UNO. Needless to say I have never in my life been treated this monstrously. Rooms: No towels or air conditioning. Smelled of mold and dust. Constant calls from front desk with unnecessary and unprofessional questions. Noteworthy details: The elevator moves floors without closing the doors. Constant trash on top he floor. Horrible customer service!!
Warning, This will be a rambling review: After everything that I have been through, this place has been a dream to drop in at the drop of a hat with 2 cats. Seriously, everyone here, even some of the guests, have been MORE than awesome. Ram sounds like ROM checked me in, Abby was another person to help me out, Pete manager, maybe?, Sita lawdt hammercy she has a heart of GOLD, and Heather. Anyhow, Ram helped me with breakfast this morning as well. He's been more than amazing from late night chats to early morning breakfast help. Oh, and I told the ladies earlier today that I had a serious issue: They were just too nice. I've been trying to keep my place clean, too and everyone has been more than helpful to help me. So, Thank you to EconoLodge and evryone that has helped me. Maybe I'll be back one day. Oh, lastly..RAM! YOU'RE FREAKING AWESOME!
Upon arrival no water however by end of day water fixed. Not enough towels or wash clothes and pillows were small. Was able to request and did receive. We did travel with our dog. Nice green area for her to potty and run. Plenty of choices for restuarants nearby. Unable to leave our dog in room unattened unless crated. Overall clean and bug free. Oh and our fridge didnt work they replaced but it didnt work either. Would we stay here again yes.
Hotels looks nice from the outside but when I tried to book the room and went to the front desk they wanted to charge me $25 more for checking in early so I didn't book it because I thought their customer service was very poor. I went 3 minutes away and booked a King size suite for $40 less and it's absolutely beautiful at the Baymont by Windham and they were extremely nice and the room is amazing and super clean, not to mention their customer service skills was extremely wonderful.
Base board in room was duct taped together. Window seat cushion had a whole in it. It was ok. A regular hotel room.Rooms: 3/5
