Check-in was seamless. The room, however, was less than desirable. First, I noticed that the deadbolt had been broken off. That's concerning since I would be in the room alone most of the time. Second, I see sunlight streaming under the door from the nearly two inch gap. Maybe the towels I stuffed under it will help secure the door too! Third, the room was rated for four people, however, we only had two towels. At least the TV, the ac, and the fridge worked! Edit: Someone at the front desk saw my review and called to address my problems. A maintenance man came, after hours mind you, to repair the broken dead bolt. He offered to fix other concerns but it was getting close to bed time so we opted to only get the lock fixed. We slept better knowing the door was more secure at least.
Worse experience staying in a hotel. The room had a thick cigarette smoke smell to the point of my eyes burning and my clothes smelt like it. The toilet wouldn’t flush, there was a cigarette burn hole in the comforter, and the sheets had old stains on them. When I went downstairs to leave and get a refund, the lady acted like she didn’t even care and just said the booking site would have to take care of my refund. Now they are saying it’s the hotel’s responsibility to fill out a form and send it. Horrible experience and I wouldn’t suggest anyone to stay there.
There was roaches running around!!! The rooms are old and need refurbished, they did provide a small coffee pot but no filters, a good point for me was they do provide rooms for smoking and comfortable clean beds. Walkability: There was several places you could walk to for food and other things.
This place is was really dirty. Definitely lost the sense of Hospitality. I didn’t even stay the full night. I bought some Clorox cleaner and started cleaning and ended up just leaving. Left the cleaner and rag, they really seemed to have needed it. Sorry Econolodge. Choice Hotels really dropped the ball with this property.
Musty-smelling room, damaged poorly barely repaired walls. No hair dryer. Sketchy long-term residents. Breakfast was two kinds of cereal and toast. Regular coffee only with powder creamer and one kind of sweetener. Would never stay here or recommend it.Rooms: 1/5
