Rooms were cleaner than most which was nice for a change. The humidity from all the rain kept the floors slick. Two different days out of 4 housekeeping just walked on in my room without knocking and well before check out. Rooms: Beds were nice, but the thin blanket barely covered the mattress. Safety: Decent area Walkability: Taco Bell next door, plenty of places within walking distance Food & drinks: I thought it said a grab and go breakfast, but I only saw coffee
The room though clean was so mildew smelling. There were painters scraping the hallway walls and door frames until 10pm . The people at the front desk barely acknowledged our checking or checkout. The food was terrible. The gravy was all water, eggs tasted terrible and when wr asked about it the guy just turned around and walked out. Rooms: Room was overwhelmingly smelling like mildew Food & drinks: Food was terrible, water like gravy, awful eggs Noteworthy details: When a hotel has remodeling going on, it shouldn't be at 10pm right outside of rooms
5/5 stars for a cheap clean place to sleep with all necessary amenities Stands up to its name!! . Bed was surprisingly comfortable. Breakfast in a bag was little to be desired. For $70 on sale I couldn't be more happy with the accommodation.Rooms: 5/5
Stayed on 5/8, first room we were assigned was having door lock/unlock issues, front desk lady was super understanding and switched our room to one with a safer door, super appreciative of that. Room was clean, little hair color drops on the carpet, definitely NOT blood. Beds were comfy and clean, bathroom area clean, floors clean, checked for any bugs and found nothing, room had its own air control unit that worked really well without making any annoying sounds. Location was great. Traveling back to IA from SC this was ~halfway. When we went to talk to front desk I noticed they have a CCTV system so they are monitoring what's happening on site, made me feel a little safer. Overall I give two thumbs up, I would stay here again.
