I went to see Ed for a second open on loose diamonds. I was bamboozled by the first jeweler in Friendswood and was going to pay over $400 for repairs. Ed fixed the issue for $15. Thank you Ed for your honesty.

After recommendation from a work colleague, I took my grandpa's expensive vintage wristwatch there for service. The watch was running but has not been serviced for the past 40 years and was not keeping time. I initially called in November and they asked me to bring only in January as they were too busy to take the job. I left the watch there on Dec 28th and it took approx 6 weeks to be ready. Job quality is outstanding and the watch is now working like new. Repair was not "cheap" which I expected as this is a complicated automatic watch, but was for sure a small fraction of what I would have payed on an authorized service. In summary, I Couldn't be happier with the outcome. If you have Rolex, Omega or other mechanical watches that need service, this is the place to go as long as you are not in a rush or is expecting great customer service from the front desk as highlighted by other reviews .
They are very friendly. I’ve taken my rings to be fixed and have always been satisfied with the work. I know Mr Nesrsta is very busy but I would always get my stuff back in a timely manner. Mr Nesrsta put a battery in a watch for me and only charged me for the battery. I totally trust him.
The jeweler seems nice but the woman who answered the phone told me to remove some links on a watch would be $10, got charged $21. She also needs a lesson or two on customer service. I don't know if she's slow in the head or whatnot but you don't hang up on a potential customer mid sentence. Someone please show her some social skills. Gave them a chance but it's the first and last, I'll tell my friends and family to go elsewhere.
This place is an Alvin landmark. Very knowledgeable in house repairs and sizing. All my business for watch repairs to jewelry purchases and repairs go here and no where else. A great down home feel they keep every purchase personal and treat you like family. Thank you guys very much for your honesty and your loyalty to doing a great service for the Alvin community.
Absolutely a disgusting experience. The woman behind the counter is extremely rude. We had just bought a ring somewhere and came in for an estime on ring resizing. First thing she said is to see the ring, no problem. Proceedes to then say in a rude attitude "what is wrong with your ring, how are we supposed to resize it if we dont even know what it is". Hands her husband the ring who then tells her what it is and then he throws a brand new ring we just bought onto the counter. She was giving me an attitude about the size i needed and everything. She asks for my name and info and then never even tells me the pricing and says it would be done in 3 weeks. I had to ask 3 times for the pricing of the resizing. Will not return, such a horrible experience and they should be ashamed to provide that kind of customer service.
Sorry it took so long to review! About a month ago my husband and I took our wedding rings in for resizing, mine needing smaller, his bigger. We paid cash in advance and was told the wait would be 5-6 weeks! After quietly debating whether we wanted to part with our rings for that long, Mr Nesrsta assured us our rings were In good hands.... I missed our rings, so after a few days I emailed them so in case they wasn't able to reach me via phone, they would also have my email.... Well, a couple of days later, I received a call that my rings were ready! I almost cried when I picked them up and I walked over to Mr Nesrsta to personally thank him! Absolutely beautiful work and we are so so happy! I am sad I never knew about your place until now, but you have our business and we will recommend you to anybody! Thank you again ...
