My review is from when Ed cut my hair. From the time I was little he would always flick my on the ear and tell me to sit up. I loved to go in and listen to all the stories they used to tell. Ed told me that Rats ate his fingers off and if I wasn't good he would send them to get me. lol Thanks for all the good stories and haircuts.
I sent 4 male family members to recive cliper cuts & other services. All 4 came back looks like hack jobs. Never again. No way did the barber holding those clippers finished barber school. Basic services like a low fade in first guy, had high-low patches, uneven sideburns, and a 90 degree angle around one ear and curved- following ear contours on other side, and hairline in the front was noticeably crooked. 2nd guy asked for 2 on the bottom 4 on the top had a hairline on the back of the neck but it was so high it looked horrible & I guess hairlines are not supposed to continue to the forehead, he didn't have one in the front just straggly unfinished size 4 hair. 3rd guy- older guy needed ear & nose wax, wax was requested before trim, was never done, neither were his sideburns. Last guy had a 3/2 that was horribly blended, he had to pull out his own clipper at home and reblend, and touch up hairline. I knew something was wrong when the 4 of them came back in 30 min lol. If the barber doesn't spend time on you, you going to look bad. My guys hair is finally long enough for trims again. Going to try somebody ells. Price wasn't an issue. They were willing to pay what ever to look good for special event, but this place in Cory was not worth 12+tip that they spent per guy.
I'm a black male who went to this Barber to get a line up because my hair is growing down my neck. He said he couldn't do my hair because he didn't have clippers for that. 03/07/2019 at about 11:30am. I've never heard anything so absurd.
I found a straight edge razor, looks like it's from the 50's or 60's .It reads Ed's barbershop , Pittsburg PA , made in Germany . I'm in California. Just curios if it's the same shop. have you been there for a long time Ed? if so I can send it to you , [email protected]
Very fair price, only $10 for men's cut. And, she did a great job. Very thorough and did what I asked! You don't get that everywhere.
Great cut from a talented, personable barber. I have been going to Scott for approximately 15 years including years at his former shop.
