The Eddie World Company is currently building its second location in Yermo, CA. The first Eddie World was started in 2001 in Beatty, NV. This store is better known as Death Valley Nut & Candy Co. [http://www.onlyinyourstate.com/nevada/nevada-candy-store-nv/] The first store was meant to push the limitations of a traditional gas station. Our first location is 15,000 square feet and full of unique masonry work, medieval towers, a charming miniature waterfall castle, and to enter the store you must cross one of 2 brick bridges that span across a pond with an entrance towering 35 feet in the air. Furthermore, this store is also Nevada's largest candy store. We sell everything from candies, chocolates, to nuts, dried fruits and sugar free items. We also have a subway and amazing jersey store inside. This store has been a huge success because its incredibly unique and there is nothing else like it. The popularity of the first location has been the inspiration for our second location, where we are attempting to not only redefine how people perceive gas stations, but also create the largest and most exciting attraction the High Desert has ever seen. The inside of the store will be roughly 26,000 square feet. We will have 26 fueling positions, and roughly 150 parking spots. The project site is perfectly centered between Los Angeles and Las Vegas in Yermo, CA, making it the perfect stopping point for travelers headed in either direction on Interstate 15. Construction is already well under way, and we anticipate opening in July/August of 2017. Last month Eddie World partnered with Tesla motors, who have already committed to installing 18 supercharger stations in our parking lot, making Eddie World their largest charging station between Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
We have so many more exciting attractions and features coming but I can't spill the beans on everything just quite yet. But please stay tuned, I will be using this page to provide updates as they develop.
In the meantime, Eddie World would love to start having people submit resumes/applications for all positions. We do not have an official application package yet, but its never too early to introduce yourself to us!
