The Eddyville Historical Museum was started in October 2002. It started with a
vision and a research committee of five people.
It will be the mission statement of the Eddyville Historical Museum to preserve and
protect the history of Eddyville. It will also be the goal to preserve and display any
artifacts directly related to the town, businesses, organizations, school, industries,
commerce and churches that have made the town Eddyville what it is now.
