I've been here twice for lunch. There are some dishes that are very tasty and some that need some work. The samsas have a nice lamb and onion filling but I thought the outside would be more crispy than it came out. The smashed cucumbers are great and it comes with a lot of garlic and cilantro. I recommend the kabobs. I've had them in lamb and chicken and the meat came out moist. It's a little hard to get them off the stick when you're sitting in one of the low booth tables though. I've had the lamb dumplings and they were inconsistent. Some were too soft and broke on the bottom and others were fine. I felt the filling was bland. I've had the spicy lamb noodle soup and the broth was fine. But the noodles were also inconsistent, some with really thin ends that became soggy from soup and some really thick parts. I'd come back again but I would only order the good dishes that I mentioned before and the noodles in the pan fried version. Service is good but there's only one waiter. Strange decor.
Other than the microwaved nan with a strong baking soda taste, all out dishes are perfectly executed. The dumplings are very interesting with chunky lamb filling. My langhman noodle was tasty with a sour and a little spicy thick tomato sauce.
Service is extremely slow. And at 12pm , the waitress told us lamb kabob was sold out. And I didn't see any other table are having it. The only good thing is taste. Noodles and dapanji are very flavorful.
The beef tastes good here. They have many options of soups. Veggies are just so so. You get different sources but less than Haidilao hot pot.
Try Eden Silk Road if you want to explore Uyghur cuisine. A remote region of north-west China, their cuisine is inspired by central asian flavors. At Eden silk road, keep aside your chopsticks and wield the skewers to taste their kebabs. The small bread or naan goes well with it. Do try the stuffed pies/samsa. Service is generally slow they have a lot of space to seat big groups.
Balls to open next to a hot pot that has been around AND to soft open with 50% off! Good food clean and friendly.
Nice ambience and great food for the authentic Asian food lovers. xinjiang da pan ji photo added was exceptional! Samsa was very good. Lamb friend rice could be much better though.
Nice lamb, definitely best lamb in Asian cuisines. Little heavy so don't order too much!
Delicious! Even the free soup was delicious! Nice service, very polite. But...Super slow service.
Came here for lunch, and thought it was pretty great. They don't have a lunch menu, but they did have them written on big posters advertising them in the windows. My favorite was the lamb kebabs $9.95 lunch. Three big skewers of super tender and delicious lamb, accompanied by rice and a small salad. Also good was the polo $9.95 lunch, which was a big lamb shank served with pilaf and a small salad. I was expecting to like the dumplings the best $9.95 lunch, but I thought they were just decent. The one really interesting thing about them is they had some amount of lamb chunk meat in them, as opposed to ground meat, which is pretty unusual.
