Part of the national organization ( located in Virginia Beach, VA), the A.R.E. Chicago Team operates the Edgar Cayce Holistic Center and Bookstore at the Unity Northwest Church. The Center supports A.R.E. activities in 11 Midwestern states, offering a variety of books and CDs related to or based on Cayce's work and many alternative health products recommended in the Cayce readings. The Team also hosts lectures, workshops, study groups, holistic fairs, and other events designed to educate audiences about and provide access the concepts and materials found in the more than 14,000 documented Cayce readings.
The Mission of the Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.) is to help people transform their lives for the better, through research, education, and application of core concepts found in the Edgar Cayce readings and kindred materials that seek to manifest the love of God and all people and promote the purposefulness of life, the oneness of God, the spiritual nature of humankind, and the connection of body, mind, and spirit.
