Wasn't crowded on the Sat I went around 3 pm. 6 benches at splash pad, some with shade coverage. Spacious. Clean. Free and entertaining for littles. I would assume that kids up to 10 would enjoy. Has buckets that dump water, circle/ring "tunnel" lots of floor fountains that spray high and low. Pretend Fire hydrant has spay spouts. Dry playground looked good, across from splash pad. Fence around the area but has openings for dry playground area and the other opening is for the walking trail.Has decent size restrooms but I didn't go in.
Cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen at park! Beautiful splash pad. Named for one of our regions best recognized military heroes.
Size of this splash pad is pretty big. The only thing missing is a few more benches. Other than that, my kids loved it!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitPrice for adult entryFree
It’s beautiful, but it’s pointless when people with older kids take water balloons, it’s not a crime, but there are other people with small babies and toddlers that could end up swallowing these water balloons and end up chocking. please parents be considerate of other smaller children even if they are not yours that could be vulnerable to things like this
Great city park. Very clean and well maintained. A fitting honor to Edinburg’s War Hero. Medal of Honor recipient Freddy Gonzales. He would have made one hell of a soldier but he was a awesome Marine. One of there best.
I took my daycare kids two mornings in a row and they had an absolute blast at the splash pad. It’s quite a large area and can fit many people. Super nice park and well maintained!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
The pool was closed where we were staying, so we ended up coming here for the last 2 days of our stay. The kids enjoyed it, and it closed until like 9:30pm
Took my family, and we had fun. Well maintained and nicely staffed.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$1–5
I love it here. I came to bring my kids and they loved it so much that no one wanted to leave. Y'all already know how kids get when they don't want to leave. It was very entertaining and there's a park next to it as well. So as soon as they finish playing in the water they can go play in the park.
My teen kids n i had a blast as usual, and our pups had a refreshing first time visit too...
