Eduardo specializes in handcrafted silver, gold and platinum jewelry, custom designs and does all repairs, including laser soldering, engagement rings, monograms, engravings and more
Beauty is, quite literally, at the very core of Sumaq Design’s collection of fine sterling silver and gold jewelry – the word “Sumaq” means “beautiful” in the native Peruvian Quechua language.
So for if you’re looking for more than just another piece of decorative jewelry, how does a veritable slice of South American culture sound? Look no further than Sumaq Design by Eduardo. Eduardo's first storefront location is located in the Crossroads Shopping Center in Westchester County, NY at 457 Tarrytown Road, White Plains, NY 10607. With his workshop right on premise, enjoy watching the handcrafted pieces come to life. He can also prepare custom pieces, and features jewelry repair, monograms, and engraving.
With every hand-constructed piece, owner and designer Eduardo Accostupa aims to fuse the beauty of ancient Peruvian culture with that of contemporary Western style. From hammered raw silver bracelets to finely-textured drop necklaces, Sumaq’s pieces pay homage to the tradition of true silver craftsmanship that has been passed down among Peruvian artisans since the time of the majestic Incan culture. “I exhibit the pride I feel for my Incan and Peruvian ancestors in my designs – it is through my jewelry that I am able to fuse these two cultures,” Eduardo explains.
