Educational Talent Search at Purdue University Calumet is a federally-funded TRiO educational opportunity program that provides encouragement and motivation to youth that attend middle and high schools in East Chicago, Hammond, and Lake Ridge (Gary). Our efforts are coordinated with school district personnel, other universities and colleges, and other social and civic agencies.
The mission of the Purdue University Calumet Educational Talent Search Program is “to enable targeted individuals an opportunity to enhance their overall quality of life by providing comprehensive intervention academic and career-related services.”
