Edward Jones is a financial-services firm dedicated to serving the needs of individual investors. Member SIPC.
I coach and empower women and their families to protect their financial security.
My 16 years with Edward Jones and the knowledge gained from my career progression gives me a comprehensive foundation to meet my clients' unfolding and ongoing needs.
I have a degree in psychology which is very helpful in addressing sensitive client concerns and issues surrounding money. I was recruited by the Social Security Administration upon graduating college and gained institutional and practical knowledge that is of immense value to clients. I've owned my own business and learned that, just as in watching my parents, no one works harder than self-employed families. I also spent six years working for the Alaska State Legislature with constituents and on department and capital budgets. Before beginning my career with Edward Jones, I was the executive director for the Seward Alaska Visitors Center and Chamber of Commerce.
In 2006, I was one of 24 women invited to attend the Edward Jones Managing Partners Conference honoring 300 of our firm's financial advisors based on production - it was a career highlight!
In 2013, my husband, Travis, and I took a risk and jumped out of our born-in-Alaska nest and moved to Aptos so I could assume responsibilities for the Aptos branch. We happily traded our shovels and snow boots for sand toys and flip flops.
We've been together for 20 years and enjoy a serene life in the hills above Aptos with our sweet pup, Kaiser. Our favorite thing to do together is take a brisk walk at Beer Can Beach. I'm in my element sweating it out at my favorite Aptos hot yoga studio and Travis runs Spartan races and enjoys golf.
I coach my clients to make smart financial decisions with less stress and worry. My hands-on "Coach Approach" is straightforward, partnership-driven and based on what's important to you and your family.
