Mission, Vision and Value Statements
I. Mission Statement
The Edwardsville Police Department will work in partnership with the community to promote open communication, education, cooperation, and fair and equal treatment, to improve the quality of life, promote unity, and make Edwardsville a safe community.
II. Vision Statement
It is the vision of the men and women of the Edwardsville Police Department to maintain and enhance the confidence and trust of the people we serve, to continually strengthen and expand the partnerships between the police and the community we serve, to maximize community participation in identifying problems, developing solutions, and establishing relevant Department priorities and policies, and to effectively resolve problems of our community while protecting life and property.
