The Egyptian Arabic School (EAS), is a Division of the Egyptian Canadian Cultural Society of BC, (ECCS-BC),
• OUR ORIGIN: The Egyptian Canadian Cultural Society of BC, (ECCS-BC) was established with its first General Assembly Meeting on October 6, 1979.
• OUR HISTORY: The Society started its Egyptian Arabic School, EAS, in 1983, with the first class held on September 24, 1983, with 11 students, and was held in The Pakistan Center in Vancouver.
• OUR VISION: To develop and utilize an innovative educational system to teach the Arabic language by providing an activity-based, personalized, easily-accessible and affordable learning experience to all Members and Friends of the Society, ECCS-BC.
• OUR OBJECTIVE: To develop and conduct a multi-site weekend Schooling System that serves ECCS-BC Members and Friends in various areas in BC, starting with Burnaby, as a central location, and by making it the weekly Fun Day for every kid in school !
• OUR DISTINCTION: Highly qualified teachers and assistants, Professionally selected activity-based curriculum, Limited number of students per teacher/assistant Limited number of students per classroom.
