A+++++++ Principal Pacheco and her outstanding bi-lingual faculty do an EXCELLENT job in preparing our kids for college. The Spanish & English language immersion program and the academic curriculum taught to the students is outstanding. I couldn't think of a better school to send our kids. There is a waiting list to get in and there are kids from all over San Diego county attending. Our kids love this school because Principal Pacheco and her faculty love what they do and it shows by how much they care in teaching the students and running the school.
Not very happpy with how the school deals with issues. Not only one of my children but all three of my children have had issues while attending this school. I know it’s the school because they have attended another School and they did not have problems as they do at EJE. They call the parents the second a child says they have a headache or tummy ache for pick up from school. If my child is truly sick of course I’m happy to get them but calls from here are excessive. Dual launguage immersion is the only positive about this school. It is a charter school meaning they keep all donations or monies unlike a public school. However the school looks terrible and they don’t seem to update things. They have the children pay a $1 every Friday to not wear uniforms!!! I know it’s just a $1 but add that up over 8 yrs depending on the amount of children you have. Your child will always want to wear regular clothes on Friday. Also keep in mind what do they use that for? I have paid for every field trip for my children so I know it’s not going to that. The TK bathroom has no divider wall... I could go on and on. I hope this helps you because this would have been helpful for me. My children no longer go to this school... also another thing my children were the minority at this school. Maybe that is why issues were treated a little differently. Not sure that is just assumption. I am happy I will be dealing with a different school now.
