Athletic, fun, beautiful. I've been to three classes here now - always after running a lap of two of the M Trails, so muscles are in need of a good stretch, resistance, and recovery, which is exactly what they get here. Classes are super challenging, but instructors encourage you to modify as needed. All levels are present, all body types, all ages. Laughter and grace encourage folks to try new things. It's a welcoming place to explore your edge. The sound, flow, and lighting create a profound sensory experience. I find myself smiling from time to time at the beauty and eclectic flow of human energy. Sublime. I will definitely be adding more Ekam classes to my schedule. Suggestion: If you're new to yoga, you might want to start with a studio that has mirrors and small class sizes for establishing foundational poses. Vandana, Sara, Tammy, and Rocco at the Ridge and everyone at Your Yoga come to mind as fantastic resources.
Caitlin was great! She was easy to follow along, she adapted her class for what the students requested. I felt like I had new shoulders/upper back when I left. One of the best yoga practices I’ve been to.
The studio is beautiful in its simplicity. The classes work you, but each instructor does a great job of suggesting modifications for those who need them. I've been quite a few times over the years, and while each instructor is unique in their own ways, they still manage to offer a consistent experience.
Love Ekam! They offer a variety of yoga classes and the instructors are awesome. I love that they explain how to scale up or scale down the poses. I would recommend Ekam to anyone who is just starting out or even those with more experience. The space is super clean and inviting, everyone is so welcoming. I love taking classes from them.
Loved my first, and second class at Ekam Yoga! I promptly signed up for a month of classes. The studio space is so unique with the exposed brick wall and I love the challenge of not practicing in front of a mirror. Bailey is warm and welcoming and I instantly felt comfortable. The classes are creative and challenging. I look forward to exploring additional classes and instructors at Ekam!
I chose Ekam for my introduction into the world of yoga and could not have been more pleased with my first experience in what is a beautiful, modern studio. What really impressed me was the attention to detail the teachers pay to each person, tailoring classes to cater for individual needs. Also, the personal, in class adjustments were invaluable, they allowed me to learn quickly and get the most out of my practice. The facilities are first class and the owner, Bailey, has done an incredible job in creating a fun and enjoyable atmosphere that will challenge all abilities.
Ekam is my yoga home. I love the diversity of classes and instructors I find here in this beautiful space. Bailey, the studio owner, is down to earth and always so welcoming. As a seasoned yoga practitioner, I appreciate that I can find anything from a gentle beginners class to more advanced offerings. This is a special place with something for everyone. Highly recommend getting a month pass and checking out all the teachers and classes to find what suits you BEST. Keep it up Ekam!
Ekam is without a doubt one of the nicest studios I've ever been too. Its clean and comfortable aesthetic along with its excellent amenities place it in a league of it's own in Bozeman. However, what really set my experience at this studio apart was interacting with Bailey, the studios owner and, in my opinion, it's best teacher. The first visit to any studio can be a little uncomfortable, but Bailey's warm and authentic demeanor was instantly welcoming; it was almost as if I had been in the studio before. Furthermore, her in class approach and hands-on adjustments made my class with her the most effective I've ever had. Whether you are a beginner like me or a seasoned practitioner, if you are looking for the best yoga experience in Bozeman, look no further than Ekam.
I am 65 years old and joined class "off the street". Had not been taking yoga recently. I felt very comfortable in David's class. I liked the no mirrored studio as it helped me with an internal focus. Generally the space was calm and quiet. David helped when needed while letting learners find their own strength balance and calm. My body felt great after the session. I felt grateful. The physical space is attractive and clean. Decor is upscale and spa like and I felt a bit pampered.Thank you
