Want to join Science Club? Membership is open to all current El Camino students regardless of major. We meet every Tuesday, 1pm, Natural Science Bldg Room 206.
The purpose of the Science Club is to stimulate interest in the natural sciences and to encourage friendships with like-minded students.
Club activities include low-cost excursions to a variety of fascinating locations, on both day and overnight trips. Our most popular tradition is our bi-annual camping and hiking trip to locations across the western United States. We also enjoy museums, planetaria and the occasional guest lecturer on campus. Please have a look at the pictures from some of our past trips.
Membership is open to all current El Camino students with an interest in science, regardless of their major. There is no enrollment form to fill out. Simply come to our meetings and share in the club's activities.
Meetings are held every Tuesday at 1 pm in the Natural Sciences Building, room 206 (NATS 206) during the fall & spring semesters (no summer & winter meetings). See the map in our Photos Section.
