We represent a non-profit group of parent and teacher volunteers committed to the betterment of our campus.
The purpose of the El Camino PTSA is to support and serve the teachers, students and parents of our school. This is done through donations to the organization. Donations help fund student projects, clubs and events. The PTSA serves teachers needing equipment and supplies not funded by the district due to statewide budget shortfalls. The PTSA maintains and supports a college and career center for our students. We organize and present academic awards and teacher recognition events as well as a sober graduation party and many college scholarships. Parents are supported by a web-based newsletter which provides district and school information, counselor messages, student test dates and news of student events and activities including athletics news. Our organization also supports the El Camino music and drama programs, student government and other groups.
We represent a non-profit group of parent and teacher volunteers committed to the betterment of our campus. All donations are returned back to our school either in the form of purchase or checks to pay for needed items or scholarships.
The PTSA’s purpose is to be charitable, educational and philanthropic. We are very proud to be able to benefit our school, students, teachers and administrators in the manner mentioned above.
