First time visiting this restaurant. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. The food was awesome, not too expensive, and had large portions. You certainly get your money's worth. Everything tasted phenomenal. The waiter was very friendly, welcoming, and prompt. The only reason for not getting 5 stars is because the hostess was borderline rude and dismissive. I felt that she wanted to be anywhere except getting us to our table. On top of that, she sat us on a table that had not been cleaned. There was rice on the table, and the surface was sticky and still had the wet rings from the drinks of the previous patrons who sat there. Finally, she only tossed literally tossed, and ran off like she had better things to do our menus on the table and did not ensure we had silverware. It wasn't until the waiter brought our food that the missing silverware was discovered. Then we had to wait to eat while he went to get it for us.
Absolutely horrified by what we found today while trying to have lunch. We ordered to go and got back to work only to find a live cockroach in one of the plates. We immediately took the food back and showed the manager. He seemed shocked but didn't really say much. He offered a full refund.
In a lifetime of dining, this is one of the rare occasions when the rice and beans was as good as the entree. Generous portion of guacamole. Some of the best corn tortillas I've ever eaten. Do they make their tortillas in house? They are tender, fluffy and delicious.Recommended dishesRefried Beans
Their food is a bit more authentic than your average Mexican restaurant, which is highly commendable. You can tell they make their own, salsa Verde, for example. The service here is polite and helpful. Overall great place to eat and enjoy a beer. I, for one, will certainly return to this restaurant. Parking: There might be times where you have to wait to park, but that's typically on Friday and Saturday nights.
We were on a road trip with our dog. Exhausted and very hungry. Their outdoor seating was closed, but they accommodate us since we had our dog. This is also a good place for if you’re vegan! They have a full vegetarian menu, but we opted for the veggie fajita for 2 without cheese or sour cream and that gave us way more veggies and it was yummy! My only con was that we waited a while to get seated because the host wasn’t there for like 5-10 minutes. But after that things went speedy!
Good value lunch specials with tasty options. Service was a bit slow, but we weren't in a rush. Easy on and off the interstate as well.Food: 5/5
The food and drinks are always amazing here. The only complaint is all employees take their breaks and eat sitting at the bar. In all restaurants there should be a BACK table designated for employee breaks, NOT the front of the restaurant at the bar area.Food: 4/5
The food was good I had it to go not enough food for the price but I guess if you dine in it maybe more but the food was good..Food: 5/5
I had planned to go to a different Mexican restaurant, but it was closed. This restaurant was nearby so I gave it a try. I travel a lot, and eat Mexican food everywhere I go. This restaurant is probably the worst Mexican food I've ever tried to eat. The steak was so very fatty and way overcooked, even though I ordered it medium. The salsa was not edible; i don'teven know how to describe its flavor. The chicken soup was so temperature hot I had to wait a hour to even try it, but this was after I burnt my tongue. Then when I finally tried it, it was flavorless. I'm not sure how a soup with peppers, onions and vegetables can come out flavorless. I would assume because he was laden with oil, and the chicken in it was tough. The guacamole was mush, and not all all fresh chunky as they told me it would be. Needless to say, I wound up $30 something in and hardly ate any of it. I had purchased two meals so I would have lunch and dinner, but both were a complete bust. Unfortunately, I ordered it take out or I would have returned it all. I didn't want to make the trip back. The chips were ok, though.
Wide selection of entrees, quick services, and good drinks. Would recommend, fajitas texanas, burrito Veracruz, camarones jarochos, or huevos divorciados.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: YesDelivery: NoCurbside pickup: Yes
