El Dorado Restaurant

On our way home to San Antonio from the island we decided to stop here and have dinner. We were not disappointed at all. Food was great!! Kids enjoyed their meal as well. We will definitely be stopping here on our next trip. Kid-friendliness: Our waiter knew exactly what we were going to order for the kids, already knew the drill lol

Had a few drinks after get together and we were given a private room. Waiter almost lost track of drink tab. Although he tried really hard and that was important. We were not disappointed great time and good service.Food: 4/5

El Dorado is my favorite Mexican Food restaurant in Kingsville! The Al Pastor Chimichanga is amazing! I love the chips, salsa and queso while you wait. The service is excellent. Kind servers and very fast. Also try the habanero sauce! Great setting. Easy parking. Carne asada chimichanga is also awesome. I come here at least once a week. Reminds me of home in San Diego, California- but bigger and more cheese! Love it! Texas style. 10/10

The tortillas were very good here. The rest of the food was also delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The waitress was also very attentive. She kept the chips and drinks filled. The portions are also very generous, so you will probably take some for another meal. The restaurant was also very clean and the food came out quickly even though we had a large party. Parking in front was also adequate.

The special for the day was Street Tacos and it came with 5. This plate was big it was like a dinner plate. I took some home for my family. I was very pleased with the taste of the dish served. I go every week!! Kid-friendliness: My son's favorite taco since he was a kid is bean and cheese

My 1st time here and Ohhh YES I WILL be BACK. Todays adventure was a solo trip but it was great so I definitely will have to return and bring Wifey next time. The Breakdown: The portions are seriously Texas Size HUGE here. I would recommend splitting a meal with 2 adults unless you want to take a doggy bag home with you or you are a professional competitive eater. My waitress said that the Poblano Fajitas Fajitas are the best thing on the menu, so I took her recommendation. She definitely was NOT lying, it came out sizzling in a cast iron and at 1st sight I was impressed. I opted the Flour Tortillas and Chicken & Steak mixed combination. I liked the chicken and steak equally so I think I made the right call. The flour tortillas were huge, hot, fluffy, and delicious so I'm very happy with my pick. Everything was really great but the salsa that comes with the dish was the real star of this show. Straight incredible, I think I could have drank a few large glasses of it. Yeah it was that good. I went solo so I have another full size meal to warm up later tonight or tomorrow. Shoutouts to my waitress sorry I didn't catch your name and hats off to the chef. We came around 11 and received salsa and quezon but no chips two tables were seated after us a little whiles after and they had received chips we were quite disappointed I ordered the quesadilla plate and it was okay but I didn’t really enjoy it my brother had enjoyed his meal and my aunt was disappointed in the beans tasted like they had to much Manteca the tostada was soggy

Just got take out order and was blown away with the customer service and promptness of my meal coming out. From the lady at the window to the nice gentleman who gave me my food.Food: 5/5

The best quesadillas! Their tortillas are fluffy and soft and they don't skimp on the cheese! This is favorite place to grab a quick lunch with an ice cold horchata. The service is always quick and friendly.Food: 5/5
