I set up appointments for my mom who does not speak Spanish. I clearly told them that since they have policy's regarding no one else attending appointments due to COVID that they needed to make sure that a Spanish interpreter was either present or phoned in to support with appointment. No one was there and they did not make attempts to call or figure anything out so my mom had to start calling myself was at work, didn't hear phone and called my brother-in-laws who was available to translate. This is not the first time this has happened. I don't know the law around this but pretty sure they should be providing this to their patients. Mom had been waiting for this appointment for over a month so she did not want to lose it and have to wait even longer. So this is why I am giving this office a 1 star review for cultural and language insensitivity :
DR. OFFICE IS NOT WORTH YOUR TIME/MONEY: I have an appointment with this Dr. this month as a new patient. Get this: I have had this appointment for over 2 months now. As of yet I never received a Medical Release Form to release my past medical records, that they should have requested the records over a month ago. I called the Dr.'s office today & the front office didn't even know that the regular policy is to get a new patients past medical history, especially if the Dr. is a specialist. The response that I got when I called to discuss this with the front office is "If the Dr. thinks that he needs to have them, we will request them." Come on people do your job or at least get trained to do it properly. UPDATE: I completed my telephone appointment on 05/18/2021 with this Dr., as we were talking about my issue’s, I felt rushed & I didn’t to state my full cause of my migraines. I even needed to ask him for Rx’s for these, but we didn’t even get that far, before he wanted to get off the phone. He ordered test’s for me & stating that “There is no need to call the office to schedule these appointments for the tests, they will call you.” Plus, he ordered blood work for me to at Quest Diagnostics. Now, I have to call Quest Diagnostics to confirm that they received the order. I am doing this since the last reviewer stated that she had issues getting her tests done. Like her, I am going to keep on top of this, as I have too many problems not too. I will update this post as necessary.
I understand the office not being staffed during these times, but that's no excuse not to call a patient with their MRI results. It took forever to get through to make the initial appointment. It took over a month for them to finally schedule the test, after me calling over and over to remind them. It's been a month and a half since the test, and I had to call to ask about it. Now, my authorization has expired so I will have to wait AGAIN to get another appointment to talk to him on the phone, PLUS another $80 co-pay. My other doctors are fine calling me to give results over the phone and not incurring a co-pay charge. Worst ever.
The best neurologist I ever been to. I suffered severe domestic violence and my now ex husband caused severe head injuries and Dr. El-Hadi Mouderres was very sensitive with me and helped with all my testing. Very kind and professional dr. I miss his clinic. Definitely memorable and blessed memories. Thank you
The Dr is amazing and the staff is super nice would be 5 stars but only issue is there is not enough of them to help with front office or phone calls. It is very hard to get a hold of this office for anything. I was told my results will be sent to my primary Dr after my diagnosis. In order for me to start treatment my primary needs the results. In the meantime, I’m in pain waiting for results to be sent. So frustrating. I understand they are understaffed due to COVID but they had communication issues prior. It took forever for me to get a nerve test and now diagnosed I need treatment. Gonna keep calling, would go to office but they are a 40min drive in which that is hard for me to do.
It is unfortunate that this is one of the only few places in the Sacramento Area for a Medi-Cal neurologist I too work full-time for CoveredCa. First, Yes they do not return any voicemails left on the machine at their number. Hearing back or Obtaining any type of "response" or "feedback" from the Dr is drastic loss. The ONLY way to get any information or any details about YOUR health, is to go in person and address the matter in person without an appointment just walk into the office. I regate any persons that have to endure going through all of this while seeing "This" place, for the assistance they need. If I could rate 0 i would. For those who are under medi-cal and still struggling. I highly recommend talking to your Dr and county to request ANY neurologist all in Redding, Ca

Was referred to this office to discuss recurring headaches and it took 5 months for them to schedule further testing. After my MRI was complete I called asking for a follow up appointment and they never scheduled one. When I called again they said my insurance referral had expired weeks ago. Terrible communication and I felt as though my medical issues were being dismissed. Would not recommend.
2019 i had seizures. Got tests done and they found no evidence of seizures, needless to say i got better. What they didnt tell me is that they suspended my license!!! Now almost 2 yrs later im giving them paperwork to fill out. The guy is a total joke waste of time. Lets hope since they didnt find anything my paperwork can be filled out and i get my license back. They took forever to get my insurance to clear for treatment. This place if i had to rate it at zero i would. Now im pregnant and they want more tests....like why they never found anything before so why waste time n money for tests again? Utterly a waste of time money and energy!
Do not go to this doctor unless you have to. The office staff will not return your calls. Ever. I left two voicemails, was seen in July it is now two days before October. They haven’t called to check on me or do a follow up. Absolutely ridiculous.
