Four generations of our family have enjoyed this great and beautiful resort, its unparalleled location, and warm, friendly neighbors, staff and guests. Florida's beautiful Emerald Coast is considered one of the great beaches in the world - because the snow-white sand is so soft and fine, and the water is so clear. At the end of the developed part of Okaloosa Island in Fort Walton Beach, the El Matador Condominum Resort draws guests from all over the planet. Besides the many resort amenities - gated secure entrance, full beach services, two pools, tennis courts, fitness facilities, meeting rooms, hot tubs and acres of green grass for play (very unusual amenity!) the resort sits beside 17 miles of empty white sand dunes for walking and shelling. El Matador is heavenly. Please come visit, and find your own corner of paradise!

At the end of Santa Rosa Boulevard on Okaloosa Island, El Matador is next to 17 miles of empty sand dunes and wildlife. The pure, snow-white sand beaches are unique in Florida or around the world. The association maintains beautiful, grassy lawns for play, two beautiful swimming pools, and a well-equipped fitness center with saunas and whirlpools - right at the edge of the Gulf of Mexico.
