Solid food! It's kinda tucked away so it doesn't seem too busy when we go. We ordered a burrito suizo, various tacos, quesadilla, torta, and a gordita. Everything was very good. The al pastor was my favorite because they had some crispy bits in there. Be warned the green sauce was way hotter than the red sauce which is opposite of what I'm normally used to. Service was fantastic. The girl who served us had sparkly silver silver nails, I forgot her name, but she was awesome and personable. Any definitely a great spot in the area for mexican food, check them out! Thanks guys!
Passed this restaurant a lot going to a yogurt store, but never went there to eat. Decided to give them a try last evening, and was pleasantly surprised! The place was spotless, which is always important to me. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was fresh, flavorful, and had a good presentation. The best part of all, the prices are reasonable! Plan to go back for sure!!!!
This place is a hidden gem. Maybe it's located in a strip that is not visible from the main road. But it deserves more attention. Very good foods and more importantly you get good value. It's family owned, so they treat you well.
I came here with my husband and the food was decent, but the service was awful and they refused to take my coupon that specifically had their location on it. They were extremely rude to me regarding the entire situation. It was handled with zero class. Unfortunately, we won’t be back due to this issue. Customer service is very important.
Your tacos are really good and so are the burritos and my kids love the rice it was really fluffy and spiced just right.
Impressed with the flavor of the barbacoa in the chimichanga dinner. It's hard to find good barbacoa meat flavor in this area. Also, very clean and friendly service.
This place is phenomenal. Generous portions of delicious Mexican food. Awesome service from a polite and attentive server. I can't wait for warmer weather to take advantage of their great patio and enjoy some margaritas in the sun and pretend I am anywhere other than illinois. Very fresh made to order restaurent! Tucked in the corner behind Bank of America on LaGarange it's one of the better places in Frankfort for Mexican. This should be your go to place, no waiting for hours to eat Good Food! Shhhhh! Don't tell anyone!
Steak Tacos were absolutely disgusting. I ordered 10 steak tacos and they were NOT steak, they had the consistency of blended meat with chunks of grizzle. It tasted like liver with no seasoning. I've had steak tacos there before... they were pretty good. I never will again.
I can't say enough good things about this place, it is overshadowed by other places in the region but is better than most. Don't let it slide by, you can easily drive past it. Do your research when you wanna grab a bite. There are more well known places that frankly suck in comparison. El Motor needs much needed recognition.
