I’ve never left a review for anywhere before but felt this was needed. Do not recommend going here for OB care, the ob doctor made me feel really uncomfortable as in I felt I could not tell him anything and everything on my mind during my pregnancy for fear he would get “mad” at me as Rosie loved to put it. “Dr is going to be very upset with you” never have I had to be afraid of my doctor being mad at me and threatening to send me to a county hospital. They did not inform me of my insurance being inactive for MONTHS until a few days before my delivery date, then suddenly deciding to let me know they can no longer see me for insurance. Never understood why they kept seeing me for so long considering my insurance switched without my knowledge months before. I could have had that handled. Super slow, it’s first come first serve so getting an appointment time is useless as the girls in the front have openly told me it is first come first serve. To top it off he’s late sometimes. They tried to make it sound like I was neglectful of my baby due to work when really I just needed money to take care of my baby. Very rude people. The guy in the front asks so many unnecessary questions like what your appointments are for and what not, in my opinion that shouldnt be any of his business if I have an appointment, I have an appointment so let me in. His job is just to take temp and let those that have appointments in. He doesn’t need all the reasons why.
Never have I had attitude like I did today. Everyone there has ALWAYS been so nice and professional, if they had a problem they never showed it. The guy that is checking in needs to be nicer more compassionate he doesn't know why one is going there. He just came out from being inside and just asked questions and got an attitude with me then he started asking questions as if I was in some kind of service. Very rude!!! I hope they talk to him and have him tone it it DOWN all the way!!!!!!
Apparently it’s standard for the Physician to degrade the Pt. Not myself then question why the person got sick and why should he the physician issue the medication for the Pt. Since it wasn’t his fault the Pt. Got sick, so why should he help them. Assuming the Pt had Covid. Since the Pt was not vaccinated. Which by the way the Pt. Did not have Covid! I smell an AMA complaint and a violation of Pt. Rights. Possibly even a violation of the Hypocratic Oath, of do no harm remember that’s not just physically, or did you miss the day they taught that you are treating the whole Pt. Not just the symptoms Remember Dr you never know who your Pt. Is, nor who their family members are….
I had to wait maybe 30 min. Wait wasn't too bad . I saw Scott and he was very knowledgeable and efficient . It's a big clinic . I had to pay 40.00 due to not having any insurance and others got services for free due to not being a U.S. citizen. I think that this country needs to take care of its citizens. But overall it was a good experience. The staff was really nice.
Shahla Hashemi is my doctor. Her and her staff are great. Can usually get an appointment pretty quick when needed. Did walk in once and the wait was about 2 hours...but it's a walk in! The referrals are sometimes a hit or miss. Told to watch the mail for the referral approval which never comes. In their defense my mail is always getting delivered to the wrong address I live on South and mail gets delivered to North . Have never had a bad appointment experience. Ever...in 8 years. And I'm a white boy in a hispanic medical center. :
They are still in the 1990's they lake you write your name on a file label with your Birthday then they stick it to a the computer screen and they tell you it's first come for a walk in it's been the 2nd time and the first time I waited more then 4 hours today I've been seeing how they work and they forget the label on the PC then someone comes and there is a collection of sticker labels and of course the grab one without them knowing who was first and other that were walk-ins as well get called before you. The logistics suck. Yes they are a friendly staff just need someone to teach them how to work better to help the patients.
The staff were nice but the doctor was taking to long to give me my results. I’m not sure he acted so unprofessional it kinda made me feel uncomfortable they couldn’t even send me a female doctor , didn’t even show like he cared. But oh well I switched my provider. So I’m glad I’m out of there.
I make an appointment for the flu shot 2 weeks ago I go to the office and then they tell me we are sorry we don't have a flu shot will let you know when we get it Even when I call this morning to confirm my appointment, why they didn't tell me on the phone well, 2 stars is pretty good
Could not get adequate treatment for a bilateral ear infection that was disruptive to my daily tasks. Seems simple enough to get some antibiotics right? Not. Castillo sent me to an Audiologist. I went and was told I didn't need a hearing aid. Yeah I needed oral antibiotics, it was absurd to waste time and money on an Audiologist. After getting the run around at el proyecto desperately seeking relief, I ended up in the ER where a professional with common sense finally prescribed me oral antibiotics. Weeks of pain and suffering finally solved but not by the providers at el proyecto. What an unnecessary painful experience. Please beware.
Really bad service. Everytime I call to try to make an appointment or to try to walk in the same day they leave me on hold forever then they come back to the line and tell me that they have nothing that they are booked. And that is up to me if I wan to wait but she wount promise that I will get to see a Dr. Like really what kind of clinic is this. It seems that they don't want to schedule more patients.
